Got the job done.
Place was as described. I was a solo traveler and had more than enough room. Jim and Stephanie were very helpful.
Nice house that's close to everything
We really enjoyed our week here. The house is well furnished and comfortable. The half mile walk to the beach was easy to manage a couple times a day so we could sneak home for lunch and a little time out of the Sun. The wagon was a great help at getting everything there and back easily. The house wasn't quite ready when we arrived, but that was quickly taken care of. The owners were quick to give advice for restaurants and fun activities for our family as well.
Spacious, convenient location and amenities
We enjoyed our time immensely. The house and outdoor sitting area were very comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend this rental and hope to come back in the future!
Update Check Out Time...
We enjoyed our stay.. The oven didn't work to well and the electric stove may need to have a look at, however that wasn't a big deal at all. The itinerary states that check out is a 11am.. We had a pretty rude encounter at 10:30am stating we were 30 minutes late checking out (we thought we were making perfect timing). I had to check the site a few times to make sure I wasn't in the wrong.. If check out is at 10am then please update your records, or at the very least communicate that verbally to your guests so that everyone is on the same page.
Thank you for bringing these problems to our attention. We'll have the oven operation checked by our local appliance repair person as soon as possible. Unfortunately are only option for a range is electric which does behave differently than a gas operation. I only wish that you had brought this to our attention when we I checked in with you or when we passed daily in the street or as our children played together.I could have addressed this problem then.
I made the time change on the site but for some reason it didn't take effect. My computer skills are often not what they probably should be.I should have gone back and confirmed the changes took effect. I'm working to fix the problem on our page and hope to get it resolved promptly. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused. I will comment that I was definitely not rude when I spoke to your boyfriend. I explained to him that check out time was 10:00 A.M. and it was now 10:45 A.M.and our cleaners were waiting to enter the house. How he relayed this to you was out of my control. Again please accept our apology for any inconvenience.

The house is functional however, it needs a very deep cleaning and some attention. All of the floors, walls and radiators need to be thoroughly cleaned. The kitchen was a bit of a disappointment. All of the cookware, dinnerware and silverware was dirty and had to be scrubbed before use. Most of the pots and pans sat directly on the floor under the counters. We had no clean sponges, paper towels or trash bags. The oven did not work and it took us over an hour to bake a pizza. The stove was very difficult to regulate and caused the smoke alarm to go off. It seemed as though everything was simply "surface" cleaned. As I swept up old food from beneath the radiator and found the same under the microwave. Everything just felt grimy. While the house itself is very outdated a deep, thorough cleaning and wifi would go a long way.
All of our prior reviews have been of a positive nature and we're sorry to hear about your comments and rather than a little taken aback by them. Upon your arrival, we introduced ourselves and requested that you let us know if you needed anything. I wish you would have informed us, so that we could review and immediately correct the operation of the oven and the cleanliness issues. The stove is relatively new and still under warranty but we will have our maintenance person look at it just in case. I am confused about the sponges and the paper towels as I personally left them in the kitchen for your use right before you arrived.
We're astounded that you would complain about the condition of the house. You requested to rent the house for 6 professional women looking for a get away weekend which turned out to be a lie, since it was a Bachelorette party! You left food in the refrigerator still in our dishes, empty alcohol bottles throughout the house and overflowing from the trash barrel, broken lampshade in the dining room, and the house basically a disaster! One of your party must have cut themselves on the broken dish that you discretely tried to hide in the trash barrel and left blood on the wall of the stairs and bedding which we probably will have to now have to dispose of. You stayed an hour past check out and only left when the cleaning company arrived.
We will however discuss with our housekeeper the cleanliness issues you stated in the review as a follow up.
I feel that your comments are due to the to the negative guest review given to you prior to your comments.
Oven and burners for the was checked by our maintenance person and found to be in full working order on 8-25-16.
Friendly hosts, nice place to relax. Gazebo is a good perk.
