An incredible find for people who want the comfort of a house that is much newer and in much better shape than most Stinson Beach homes. Five houses from the beach and six minutes walk to town, this house is bound to become a vacation favorite for your family. It has all the modern conveniences, too.
Unwind by the ocean in this comfortable, luxurious, family-friendly 3 bedroom home. All new furnishings, just steps from the beach. A short walk down the beach will bring you to the Stinson Beach business district, where you will find a well-stocked grocery store, a great little bookstore, local bars and restaurants. Hop in the car and take Hwy 1 in either direction for incredible scenic drives to some of the San Francisco Bay Area's justifiably world famous attractions, from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Napa Valley wineries. Hike or bike the surrounding hills and beaches, take out a kayak on the lagoon, surf the waves, or just relax and breathe the fresh sea air.

I have always been drawn to the beach since my parents started making the 10 hour drive from Ohio to the Delaware shore in the 1960s. The memories of those family adventures are still with me today. My wife experienced the beach as a child growing up in England. Our three children are 16, 13 and 7. I am a registered investment advisor and run 360 Investment Advisors in San Rafael. Our Stinson house is perfect for us and we think you’ll enjoy it too.
Owner purchased this House in 2012
Why Owner chose Stinson Beach
Our family of five has been enjoying Stinson Beach for close to two decades. We live in San Rafael, so it’s a one-hour drive to this wonderful and welcoming village by the sea. We rented houses all over the beach area, from the close-in Calles out to the secluded subdivision of Seadrift. After years of renting, we fell in love with a house that came on the market in 2012, and which had not been available for rent. That house is 14 Calle Del Pradero. We hope you will like the house as much as we do.
What makes this House unique
14 Calle del Pradero stands out from the other houses in Stinson. It’s very unusual because it’s one of the newest and largest homes within yards of the beach and within 5 minutes walk to the center of town, with it’s shops and dining. It’s very well designed, very well maintained and full of great touches and useful conveniences. Plus, it’s new on the vacation rental market. We think it will get fully booked very quickly. We certainly love staying here.

Great family getaway!
We loved our stay at this beautiful home, just steps from the beach. We were able to walk to town for lunches and dinners and didn't have to get in the car to explore the nearby hiking trails. The house had everything we needed, and plenty of room for 8 guests - plus it was a bonus that the kids could easily walk back and forth from the beach to grab a ball, boogie board or a snack. We hope to stay here again soon!
This house was perfect for our family weekend, it had a great location and a great living space
The house is only 3 houses from the beach so my little kids (7,9) had no problem getting to the beach. From the house it is only 10 minute walk to downtown Stinson (though the walk is a little hairy because there is no sidewalk).
I thought the house was great and well thought out for a beach house. There is a lot of space around the yard to keep sandy shoes, wetsuits, and boogey boards. The outdoor shower was helpful in getting the sand off prior to going in the house. The kitchen is smaller but fully functional, you simply need to kick out the relatives while cooking. The living area has a very large L shaped sofa for morning reading.
We stayed at the house in the winter and I would recommend that you turn down the heat at night because it can get a little hot downstairs.
I recommend this house and if you stay at the house I hope that you have as good a time as my family did.
Very charming beach house
Light and bright, nice courtyard style gardens, and steps from the beach. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
Great beach house. Perfect location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ocean views from the sunny deck. Light-filled rooms. The weather couldn't have been better. Short walk into town to get espresso in the morning. We'd love to become repeat customers.
Very comfortable home away from home.
We were delighted with the home and enjoyed such easy access to the beach! We had other family groups staying elsewhere along the beach and they spent considerable time with us on the lovely deck. Couldn't have asked for a more comfortable accommodation! Thank you for making this available to us!
Fabulous location, excellent set up of rooms for a family, super clean, great experience with owners
We were so very happy with our stay! The location was perfect, as the house is steps away from the beach and a few minutes walk from town. The house was clean and uncluttered. The layout was ideal for a family trip - big open living space attached to the kitchen and big deck. Lesley and Andre were a pleasure to deal with and flexible with our needs and quick to answer questions. We felt very welcome!
No need to put on shoes to go to the beach! Situated on a private road leading from Hwy 1 to the beach. About a 35-minute drive from the Golden Gate Bridge on California's Highway 1, Stinson Beach is near important attractions such as Muir Woods National Monument, Agate Beach tidepools, and Mount Tamalpais. It has a long sandy beach, and peaceful lagoon which teems with birds and wildlife. Stinson Beach is a popular day trip for people in the San Francisco Bay Area and for tourists visiting northern California. The network of hiking trails around Mount Tamalpais is extensive and breathtaking. The beach is one of the cleanest in the state.
