Owner / Property Manager purchased this house in 2012
We travel a lot so I was looking for a property where I would want to stay if I were on vacation or live in the house permanently. Upon stepping into this house it was clear that the place met this criteria. The previous owners, planning to retire there, did a wonderful job of updating this 1970s home with all new carpet, stone flooring, counter tops and kitchen appliances. We added furniture and decor that matched the quality of the remodel rather than simply filling space with second-hand furniture. Our family spends time in the house as well so we understand it's attractions and aesthetics. We envision this as a comfortable and convenient place for guest to enjoy the many events and activities the Eugene area has to offer including world class Tack and Field, easy access to the coast and mountains, great local food and magnificent music such as the Bach Festival.
The House was perfect for our family. We had a member at River Bend hospital for 6 days. Family members came and went, and the home provided an excellent overnight stop for all. It was just like staying at home, only it was away from home and better.
Loved the location, just like living in a forest.
Such a great house! 3 large bedrooms, 2 Living rooms and a great kitchen stocked with all the necessary basics. Beds were comfortable and house was super clean. Was a great place for our family to gather with enough space to be comfortable. One note, all 3 bedrooms are on lower level- reached down a very steep set of stairs. This was not an issue for us, but you should be aware if you have anyone in your party with mobility issues. So glad we booked this place. It was fabulous!!
This is a lovely home in a great location. Very clean, comfortable and cozy. The neighborhood is quiet and house sits among beautiful tall trees. It is about a 10 minute ride to campus or downtown and Laurelwood GC is only 5 minutes away. We will definitely be returning!
This property is clean and convenient to activities at the university. The beds are on the firm side. The only disappointment was the traffic noise in the early morning commute hours -- no fault of the owners just be aware it's not all peace and quiet.
This is an amazing house. It's spacious, clean, functional, has comfortable beds and is in a beautiful, established neighborhood. It has excellent I-5 access and also great access to LCC and U of O. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. We rented this house as we were putting on a wedding in the Springfield area. We had a total of 6 guests staying in the house (My husband and I and our two adult children and their spouses). Our 2nd evening we had family over during the dinner hour. The neighbors complained about the cars and our trailer (that held all the wedding stuff). This was not a party. It was a taco dinner for our very close family. It made me concerned about the coming events because the bridal party was set to get ready at this house the Saturday of the wedding. The owner was great and I don't fault him with the complaint from the neighbor. I think the issue is the neighbors are all established and don't like the idea of a vacation rental in their area. I will definitely rent this house again just not if we plan on having any gatherings. Be aware of too many cars. We had 6 cars there during our family dinner and apparently that was too many.
Great house for football weekends. Easy access from I-5, to the campus, and restaurants! Plenty of room for large groups to spread out. Kids loved the bunk beds! Well stocked kitchen. Super quiet location. Even had wild turkeys wonder by the house.
We are located just south of the University of Oregon, Hayward Field, Autzen Stadium, Matt Knight Arena, the Hult Center and downtown Eugene. As track fans (we participate in Masters Track competitions) and supporters of the arts, we especially look forward to hosting guests for track and field championships and the Oregon Bach Festival. The home is located near miles of hiking trails, parks and recreation areas as well as all the amenities of this university town. If you stay with us you will also be an hour from the beach and Willamette Pass. If you're interested in fishing, running, or birding, we have some excellent suggestions and local contacts.

The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood. Neighbors are sensitive to undo traffic and noise, especially late at night. This is not a party house. If you are planning on a generous amount of alcohol consumption or drug use, please book another location.
