Small, comfortable, newly renovated, 1 bedroom, 1 bath, with queen bed sleeper sofa in living room. Granite counter tops, new stove, refrigerator & dishwasher. Quiet area.
Presently live in Georgia. Have been coming out to the Panama City Beach area since 2001.
Ruth Sarmiento purchased this condo in 2012
Loved being right on the beach and still having access to a pool and being within close proximity to many restaurants, shopping centers and amusement parks.
Beach front. Small intimate setting. Quiet area away from the crowds but close enough to everything you need for a wonderful beach vacation.
Let me say the location of this condo is second to none. You are literally steps away from the sand and can hear the waves crashing from your bedroom. My family and I enjoyed having dinner on the patio which is right outside the front door. Now with that being said the condo itself can use a little attention and im not talking a major overhaul but simple things that would increase the overall living experience. For starters a fresh coat of paint for the bedroom and bathroom would really do the place wonders. The patches all over the bathroom walls simply need to be sanded and painted over. Not a big job. For the bedroom it would not hurt to upgrade the sheets and the bed coverings and again apply a fresh coat of paint to the walls and do a better job of concealing the wires that are dangling from the TV. The kitchen was updated very nicely all up to date appliances and very nice coutertops. It would not hurt to have an up to date coffee maker as well to match along with the kithchen. I did not even bother to use the coffee maker because of the amount of residue inside and the burner looked like it had'nt been cleaned thoroughly in years. Also when we arrived to the condo there was no toilet paper provided in the bathroom and only one trashbag for the trash can. All in all we had a decent stay at this condo but these few things that I mentioned if they were to be addressed could have made it a great stay and I think could lead to multiple repeat renters for this owner.
If your looking for location this is the place! This condo is right on the beach and the view was fantastic. Literally just feet away from the beach and ocean. Walking distance to restaurants and shops. If your looking for spic and span spotless with lots of room this condo is not for you, but if your looking for a place to lay your head, take a shower, and cook some meals...it's perfect.
WOW Its hard to put into words the way I feel about this rental. 1st this should not be listed as VRBO because when I talked with the owner she gave me a price and said she would e-mail her rental agent and he would be in contact with me. After a couple of days I called her back and told her I had no call . She gave me the number and after several tries I finally reached someone and the price was different than the owner had given me. After I agreed to the cost it took several days, calls and e-mail to get a confirmation. Upon arrival my wife and I were shocked to see what we had rented for the price of a nice condo rate per day. At best this was a Super 8 motel room that a wall blocking any air from the window unit to the bedroomhad been put in , the bathroom was a match box with no counter or cabinets to store your toiletries, the bed was not much more tha a roll away, no dressers not racks to hang any clothes in the make shift closet.Needless to say the pictures shown are misleading but I have been coming to PCB all my life and I am a senior now and I have never seen something like this called a condo. If the owner would admit this is a motel room with a great view and cut her cost in half plus handle it herself she would probably get return guest insted of 1 time visitors.
A trip to Panama City Beach offers plenty of opportunities to have some serious fun. Of course, water plays a leading role in local activities, with snorkeling, swimming, boating, fishing, windsurfing, parasailing, and jet-skiing all popular pastimes. Splash around at the popular Ship Wreck Island Water Park. Cruising to Shell Island on a glass-bottom boat, riding an airboat through the back waters and marshlands for glimpses of gators, and diving around the Gulf’s many wrecks and reefs are all fun things to do in Panama City Beach. Away from the water, visitors can bike, camp, and hike in St. Andrews State Recreational Park, play a round of golf or two of miniature golf, race around some of the most creatively build go cart tracks, or just visit the zoo. Spend endless hours window shopping, go fishing from the pier, ride the merry-go-round or ferris wheel, watch IMAX movies at the Grand Movie Theater, play laser tag, loose yourself in the mirror maze, sing along with the dueling pianos, or eat at any of the 25 fine restaurants all located at Pier Park, only 8 miles away, an outdoors shopping mall.
