Why Amanda Glendenning chose Missouri

This property became available in 2011, and we just had to jump on it. What a fantastic addition to our business. This is the ONLY private cabin with river access on the Niangua River.

What makes this cabin unique

The rustic construction of this cabin is truly amazing. All our guests tend to comment on the uniqueness of Cave Creek Cabin. This cabin has an AMAZING view of the Missouri Ozarks from the front porch. The private gravel bar is so much fun. Our groups never need to worry about sharing the river with others because the river access is on private property. There are great swimming holes, a few rapids, and fishing all at the gravel bar.

The cabin is top notch. The location is exactly what we were looking for. To bad the satellite tv didn't work. Be sure to bring DVDs. Otherwise perfect. We will stay there again.

Great place to simply get away.

  • 5 of 5

This is an amazing cabin and a great location for those who like to just get away for awhile. We had 3 generations of family there this last weekend and everyone had a blast. We were able to enjoy some trout fishing with just a short drive to the state park. The private river access looked beautiful, rain however kept us away. (The kids were bummed). The owners were very accommodating and easy to work with. Our only regret was that we should have stayed longer. Definitely give this place consideration.

Absolutely wonderful weekend!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I rented this cabin this past weekend. It was amazing! Highly recommend this cabin. The cabin itself was comfortable, clean, quiet, and had modern appliances. The beds were comfy too...BIG PLUS! The cabin is situated in the woods, tucked away. You'll have an Ozark hill top all to yourself. A beautiful view of the valley below and cliff face on the other side of the valley right out the front door. A short trek down the hill and you're on the Niangua. And if you like to fish for small mouth bass, they're there! Bennett Spring State park is within 5 minutes if you prefer trout! We had relatives up from Louisiana who brought 30 lbs of gulf shrimp and Cajun know how. The screened in porch was the perfect setting for a low country shrimp boil feast. The fire pit in the back was the perfect set up for smores and drinks. The chatter of wild turkeys could be heard in the mornings, and if you're lucky enough to get a little rain at night, the tin roof makes it sound hypnotic. Bring your favorite back yard games too. There is plenty of room in the level back yard for washers, corn-hole, or tossing the football around. Again, HIGHLY recommend this cabin.
