Beautiful 4 bedroom 3 bath 3,200 square foot home on Lake Macatawa's picturesque Big Bay. A large deck gives way to an expansive front lawn, sandy beaches, gently sloping waterfront and mature oak trees. Water has sandy bottom and slopes very gradually for about a half mile until reaching an overhead depth. Perfect for small children. Less than 1 mile from Holland State Park and the splendor of Lake Michigan. Home is built on two lots providing plenty of room for recreation and privacy. Built in the early 1950's and updated 6 years ago, the home retains the charm of a classic lakeside cottage with a large living room and field stone fireplace, knotty pine paneled study, breakfast nook and kitchen dinning room combo all with lake views. 2 of the 3 upstairs bedrooms also have lake views. Newly added master suite and bath as well as family room also have stunning lake views.

About Owner/Property Manager
Blaine Newhouse We are a family of 6 who enjoy living in Holland Michigan - especially beautiful Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan. We delight in hearing stories of how much people enjoy our home and the peaceful setting.
Owner/Property Manager purchased this House in 2012
Why Owner/Property Manager chose Park
We purchased our home because of it's location on Lake Macatawa in close proximity to Lake Michigan. We were also attracted to the peaceful neighborhood with lots of mature oak trees as well as the double lot offering lots of space for recreation and privacy. The homes character, ample size and history were also something we found attractive.
What makes this House unique
We love the fact that Lake Macatawa and Lake Michigan are available to us. We also enjoy the space of two lots - very uncommon in Lake front living. The fact that the home was both a classic cottage with knotty pine and field stone fireplace AND newly expanded and updated was a huge plus for us. The home has lot of character. We especially enjoy exercise - so walks to the Holland Pier or riding our bikes along Lake Shore Drive is something we often do. We were also looking for a water front home with a sandy beach and sandy lake bottom. This together with the gentle slope of the lake allows for kids of all ages to play in the water with far less parental concern.

Love staying here!
This is the perfect property for a larger group. We've stayed here twice and loved it both times. Hosts are very responsive. Highly recommend.
Excellent house right on Lake Macatawa
The house was perfect for us. There was lots of social space and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
The home was beautiful and very well maintained. Clean upon arrival and truly felt like we belonged. Would highly suggest this property.
Great Place to Stay
Our team has stayed at 375 Big Bay twice and loved it both times! It has been a great place for us to get away from the office and spend time together. The view is great, the house is beautiful, and the location is calming. We would highly recommend staying here!
Excellent rental for our family including one person using a walker!
We had a lovely time at this property. Our family included one of our parents who was using a walker at the time. The house was a easy to get around on the first floor with the walker. The first floor living spaces, kitchen and master bedroom were all spacious and had gorgeous views of the lake. It was an absolutely perfect rental for all of us. This home is in a great location to town and the beaches. I would highly recommend this rental and would consider coming back again. Thanks Blaine!
great location , on its own beach and close to HOLLAND state park .
VERY comfortable home . Had toddlers and adults and all of us were very happy with the great yard , walking/biking trails and great shallow beach , very close to marina for boat rental also.
Holland is located in western Michigan - known for Dutch ancestory and the Tulip Festival each spring (second largest festival in the nation). Our home is situated on two lots providing ample space for recreation and solitude. The neighborhood is filled with an abundance of mature oak trees offering welcome shade from the summer sun. Our home is approximately 1 mile from the entrance to Holland State Park and the shores of Lake Michigan. Holland is a mid sized town - 10 miles to city center by car or bike. The city has a charming down town with many specialty shops and restaurants. Bike paths are plentiful and make for ease of walking, biking or roller blade.
