About Shawn & Willow Schwartz

My husband and I live and work in Sevier County so we'd be more than happy to answer any questions about our area that you may have. We've loved living in this area for the past 17+ yrs and we count ourselves very fortunate to call these mountains home.

Shawn & Willow Schwartz purchased this chalet in 2009

Why Shawn & Willow Schwartz chose East

Our cabin is centrally located in the heart of all the attractions Pigeon Forge/Sevierville/Gatlinburg have to offer.

Our cabin is fully stocked with all the amenities to make your vacation a memorable one.

Our cabin has its very own game room with an arcade that will play 60 of the classic games (Pac Man / Ms Pac Man/Donkey Kong/etc) in one standup arcade machine. We also have a pool table and a crane in the kids bedroom stocked with fluffy stuffed toys!

What makes this chalet unique

Our unique benefit for this cabin is....we own and rent one cabin in Pigeon Forge ... so you can expect our cabin to be meticulously clean for we keep it up ourselves. Also since we the owners live right here we're only a hop skip and a jump away

Camp run a muck

  • 5 of 5

My family and I recently spent the weekend here with our fur babies. We enjoyed the family time spent here very much. The chalet was fully stocked with more than you could ever need. The mountain views were AMAZING!! We loved the feeling of being secluded yet close to town so we could get our supplies and go to all the attractions. The chalet was very cozy and we definitely felt at home. We thank Mr. Shawn and Mrs. Willow for letting us come and bring our fur babies after all they are like are children. The arcade game pool table and stuffed animal claw machine was a huge hit with us. If you want to stay at a a rental that feels like home this is one to choose. I read all the reviews before booking this stay and we did not experience anything bad the owners have been nothing but respectable to us. You must respect someone's property and treat it as you would expect your home to be treated. So choose camp run a muck give it a chance you WILL not be disappointed.

This place is awesome!! We had a great time, the place was clean and very spacious. The owners have little notes here and there with specific instructions that were very helpful! The view is amazing and the location is great, only 5-7 minutes away from everything. I only wish we had had more time to fully enjoy all the features this place has to offer. We didn't get to use the fire pit :(

I recommend this place to everyone!!

Secluded with great views, but not worth the hassle

  • 2 of 5

When I say secluded, I mean it. This cabin is at a dead end and then you continue on a gravel drive. The views were great, and the fire pit with rails for seats were a fun addition. Everything worked fine, and there are tons of cooking appliances and dishes to use. My issues were with what was provided and the owner's rules for check-out. They only provide 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom; that's just not enough for a family of 4 sharing the downstairs bathroom for a whole weekend. Also, I feel like if creamer, sugar, and coffee filters are in the cabinet, it's not asking a lot to have a small tub of coffee available, too. Wish I had read the reviews of others complaining about doing laundry to avoid an additional fee. I've stayed in cabins that asked you to strip the beds and put all the linens in one place, but asking me to do the laundry for 4 beds and 6 people's towels is RIDICULOUS! I am not going to spend my last day of vacation doing someone else's laundry - I'm going to relax. Just expect that you'll be paying that extra fee. With so many options in the area, you have to stay competitive. We will not be staying here again.

Owner's Response: I must say that I am completely surprised about your review. Our cabin is secluded but within less than a 5 minute drive into the HEART of Pigeon Forge. Stinnett Rd is a dead end street and very private ( which is what most guests truly enjoy about our cabin). There is a map on VRBO for our cabin which shows our exact location. Our driveway is only 1/8 of a mile off of the main highway. But our views will show that there are cabins all around our property. We FULLY stock our cabin with all the necessities...however at the price you paid I cannot believe you could complain about COFFEE and TOILET PAPER....we supply only items to get you started which is at the very least one roll per bathroom ( for your two night stay) or more if the guests are staying longer...not to sustain you for the whole thats what I call RIDICULOUS. Our cleaning fee is only $90...$50 extra if you choose not to do the laundry. For the size of our cabin, you are more than welcome to check around and see that most cabins charge at least a $150 cleaning fee...ours is still cheaper. Have a great day .

Great location and clean!

  • 4 of 5

I read previous reviews and saw some negative comments but decided to give this place a try. The owners were very responsive. Kitchen is well equipped. Everything worked well. They had two notes in the house for ease of use for the renter, which I appreciated. And if you read previous reviews you would see complaints about a camera. There is one camera and it points away from the house. It is not looking anywhere that you would want privacy. If I owned this cabin I would want the camera there also. There were also other comments about washing the linens before leaving. I've rented other cabins in the area thru VRBO and have had this same stipulation elsewhere so it seems reasonable to me.

The pool table, arcade games, and jacuzzi kept our teenagers busy when we weren't out on the town. The cabin is only minutes from the main attractions while still maintaining a secluded private setting. The breakfast nook with three walls of windows was a favorite spot! We will rent here again.

Beautiful views, wonderful hot tub, and helpful owners!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay very much! The Home gives a nice rustic feel for an unforgettable Smoky Mountain stay. The views are spectacular and it's surprisingly rather secluded and yet still close to everything! The only trouble we had was trying to find a way to wash all of the sheets before leaving by check out time. However, it is possible if you wake up early!

Camp Run-A-Muk July 30 to Aug 5

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from a wonderful stay at this cabin. Great view of the Smokey Mountains. Secluded, but not far away from all the attractions. The pool table and arcade machine were big hits with the kids(the grown ups liked them too😄򑀩. Because we travel to Tennessee every year, I will definitely return to Camp Run-A-Muk.
