About John Biggs
Hi...My name is John Biggs. I am a bi-vocational pastor (just means that I still have a day job as well as church work). I work for Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC as a Work Control Window Manager . I have enjoyed building for years. I have worked diligently building a church and in 2012 decided to build my third home. I would hope that you could enjoy our home during Masters Week this year.
John Biggs purchased this Chateau / Country House in 2012
Why John Biggs chose Evans
We just built this home in early 2012. We had searched for years to find the house plan that would accommodation our large family and church events. This design was perfect. It had enough class, but added that country lodge feel. We have hosted multiple large gatherings from church and know that this home will be sufficient to host your event as well. More tables and chairs are available upon request, just let your needs be known early so accommodations can be provided.
What makes this Chateau / Country House unique
This house sits on 1.5 acres of the estate section of Knob Hill Subdivision. It is located just outside the front gate and has very quiet neighbors. We have had multiple church group get together's at our home. The only limitation maybe parking; however, we are able to use the areas along the road since it is outside the neighborhood. It has that 'I am in the Mountains' feel while looking out the large glass wall into back yard area, yet you are only moments from Walmart, McDonald's, and other shopping and food establishments.

Spectacular home away from home for the Masters Tournament
I rented this wonderful home for the 2016 Masters Tournament. Everything about this home is spectacular. There is a wonderful openness to the main floor. The kitchen, dinning room, living room and sit in area flow together perfectly which allows for easy conversation and interaction with a large crowd. The large deck with a fire place allows for great evening entertaining. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all very spacious and easily accommodated our large group. Even after the long days at the course we were all excited to come back to the home and cook for the evening in the amazing kitchen.
The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. Mr. Biggs and his assistant, Shean, were so accommodating with my requests and were able to help with even the smallest of details. They contacted me on a daily basis to make sure that everything was to my expectations. Their remarkable attention to my family made this trip and the stay at his home a vacation of a lifetime.
Thank you for everything.
Thank you for your very kind comments. Still keeping an eye on your son's career. Wishing him well in the future. Again, Thanks!
Augusta is a beautiful place to golf, fish, walk, bike, etc. The weather is pleasant as is the friendly people you will come in contact with. Most of all, Augusta is known for it's golf.
