About Chris Scordo

After many trips to this wonderful town, our family was lucky enough to move to Boulder in 2011, and we fell in love with the Morrison House the second we saw it. In 2012 we purchased the property with its newly built carriage house studio, and this is where we raise our small family, enjoying everything Boulder has to offer! Chris owns a training and publishing business in Boulder, and Victoria is a licensed architect.

Chris Scordo purchased this studio in 2012

Why Chris Scordo chose Boulder

This red brick and shingled house was built around 1891 by Murdoch 'Doc' Morrison, a blacksmith, wagon maker and Boulder alderman. In 2009, the property was completely renovated and expanded, and we had a chance to rent it in 2011. That is when we fell in love with the house and took the opportunity to make it (and Boulder) our home!

Cozy, convenient and cute!

  • 5 of 5

This property provides a cozy but not cramped feel. I stayed two weeks while visiting my son, who is a UC Boulder student. The studio was stocked with everything needed, a full kitchen, a nice-sized bathroom, a comfortable bed, a nice outdoor area that provided a private feel and a grill as well. The location is fantastic as it is a short walk to Pearl Street, near to various trails, within driving distance of beautiful sights and downtown Denver and the airport. The owners assured that any issues were addressed rapidly and were easily accessible. Overall, this is a wonderful property that I would highly recommend for anyone visiting Boulder and the surrounding areas.

Lovely studio in ideal location

  • 4 of 5

I had a lovely time in Boulder. The studio was pretty clean. Chris was helpful and very quick to reply with all requests. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable place for 1-2 people. I was there for a month and it never felt too small.

Great location!

  • 5 of 5

We hardly used our car at this quaint loft in Boulder. Location, location, location. Apt set-up was fine. Had all we needed. Glad there was parking, cause it sure is hard to find in this area.

Great stay in Boulder!

  • 5 of 5

The place was great. Everything was clean. A perfect location to Pearl St. We were able to walk to most places in Boulder. Great location to the local park for hiking (2 miles away). Boulder was also a great location for all of our day trips. The air conditioner was working great and it was in the 90's the whole week. My wife was hoping for more than 2 large towels for the 5 days we were there but that is a small suggestion for future guests. Overall our stay was great. Thanks!

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our day in this well-designed carriage house. The location could not have better - two blocks to Pearl Street yet very quiet. Overall great amenities including a washer dryer and air-conditioning which we really needed in June in Boulder! My only issue was that they were very few supplies in the apartment. I realize that most people probably just walk over to Pearl Street but having stayed at other VRBOs, I was expecting to at least find some oil or other basic supplies to make coffee and tea. Although the owners were out of town they were easily reachable on cell phone or email and very responsive.

Great location with walking distance to hiking and dining. The lodging had everything we needed.

  • 4 of 5

Awesome location for a stay in boulder. Super easy to get to location and loved that we were able to access the place without having to check in with owners. Place was clean and organized. Really should be 4 1/2 stars, but there is no 1/2 option. My only complaint was that the AC did not keep up with the warm temps outside.
