We are both passionate travelers and love visiting new places and meeting new people. Although we love traveling we also love to come back home to San Francisco. We have called San Francisco our home for over a decade and we never tire of the wonderful weather, the friendly people and the amazing culture and politics here. We have lived in our home almost two years, it was built before the earthquake of 1906 and the outside has been restored to reflect it's historic origins. Thankfully the inside has been fully modernized and our guest apartment is as modern and luxurious as most downtown hotels! We love having visitors and hope to help our guests enjoy the many sites and experiences San Francisco has to offer.

Great Castro district getaway
Awesome location! It’s so close to the MUNI station and Castro St. We loved the location. The apartment is in the basement and opens out onto an enclosed backyard with a fire pit and some deck chairs. It’s peaceful but super overgrown. The bedroom is cute but the bed is creaky and hard. There is a microwave and mini fridge in the living room but no coffee machine.
Great Location, clean and bright
We had a great experience staying at Regina's. The place was big, bright and clean, and the location was unbeatable. Also a great price in comparison with the rest of the city, would totally stay there again. She was accomodating with our luggage storage on check out and it was really simple to check in/out.
As others have mentioned it's loud some mornings with the upstairs neighbors, but Regina provides earplugs and once you have them in it's all good, also that is only if you're trying to sleep in super late which we weren't since there's so much to do
Very comfortable and exactly as promised.
Awesome. Historical San Francisco style.
Great location, lots of natural light, very clean, great host
I'm in SF often for business and used to live here for 20 years so the opportunity to stay in an apartment in a nieghborhood is always more appealing than a hotel. This is the perfect neighborhood and the apartment is clean and fits all of my needs. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.
Very beautiful property in a very great location.
I booked this property because I was in town for GDC (Game Developers Conference), and luckily this location was only 20 minutes away by public transit. I don't actually have any real complaints about my stay, but I do have to warn people that like to sleep in, the ceiling/floor is somewhat thin, so you can hear Regina and her family getting ready for their day above you. If you're a heavy sleeper, or early riser, it isn't really a problem, nor was it a problem for me. Likely you won't be spending a lot of time in the VRBO, but if you do, I feel this is something you should know about.
Beautiful home, great neighborhood and people with access to everything.
I’ve never written a review for any place I’ve been to and I just had to review this place. Regina treated us to a very nice and comfortable stay with everything you could possibly need. The neighborhood was amazing and filled with people that say hi when walking by. Just a few short blocks away you have access to all public transportation, plenty of amazing food and coffee shops. This was our first experience in SF and we will definitely be returning for another stay here.
The apartment is a wonderful base for sightseeing. Located in the heart of the Castro but just a 5 minute walk from the bustling Valencia corridor in the Mission and a 10 minute train ride to all the down town museums and amenities. Coffee shops, bars, restaurants, nightclubs and shops are all just minutes from your front door. Also tennis courts, basketball and a beautiful public park with fabulous city views is located within a ten minute walk. Dolores Park is also home to a wonderful new children's playground and hosts outdoor cinema and other events throughout the Summer. This apartment is located on the ground floor of a private home. There is a young family living above so there will be noise from above at breakfast and dinner time and other than that the place will be very quiet and peaceful.
