2 Acres, Across From Marburger Farms
About Kristine Brown
We have antique warehouses and stores, the big ones are called Big Daddy's and they are in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle and Georgia Brown's in Aspen and Houston. We were actually just voted, 'Best of L.A.' and 'Best of San Francisco'. Last year, we will be featured on the 'Housewives of Beverly Hills' as the source for most of the furniture that went into Lisa's new bar/restaurant. We also sell to Ralph Lauren stores and J Crew, just to name a couple and countless celebrities. Buying properties and putting them on VRBO has become a hobby for me now. We have 4 other rentals, another Round Top rental (Dragonfly Ranch), a 320 acre ranch in Central California and two rentals in Aspen Colorado. I really enjoy getting to know my guests and proudly say that a lot of my business is repeat business. I concentrate on making sure my guests are happy and I take pride in the comfort of my properties and of course; the decor has to be just right. Feel free to call me: Kristine.

Why Kristine Brown chose Round Top
When we saw the location of this property, we just couldn't resist buying it! The fact that it is directly across from Marburger Farms Antique show and so close to everything makes it one of the most desirable rentals around. It renovated like a dream; each room took on its own personality.
What makes this Chateau / Country House unique
When I saw this place come together; it blew me away. There are so many touches such as custom lighting and when I say custom lighting, I mean that most of the lights were made by our lighting guys specifically for that exact area of the house. There are barn wood walls all throughout the house and an old claw foot tub in one of the bedrooms. One of the greatest things about it is that it has a pool- a delicacy at the end of a hot shopping day!

Comfortable property with rustic charm
Our weekend stay at the Bo Buff Bradley house was rather enjoyable. We (including our dogs) loved the pool, comfy beds, large sectional sofa, and general aesthetic of the property.
The pool was big and had easy steps in. The outdoor furniture was comfy to lounge around the pool. The house is BIG! And can accommodate quite a few people. One of the bathrooms, inside a bedroom, didn't have a door though, which wasn't ideal. There were plenty of dishes to use, though none plastic for using around the pool. The knives were pretty dull and the cooking pans were in mediocre shape, so keep it simple as far as cooking. But we found the selection of kitchen supplies sufficient and helpful and we were able to cook some basic things with good success.
There were a couple of cons, however. The door to the garage from the living room was open and couldn't be latched shut, which made the living room pretty hot in the Texas summer. We ended up using a dog leash to pull it closed and attach it to a closet door. The yard was pretty overgrown and here were some cobwebs in places in the house.
Checkout was easy, as we weren't required to do much at all. All in all, it was an enjoyable stay in a spacious house with regional rustic charm.
We will consider this for a getaway with friends!
Great weekend getaway in Roundtop
Enjoyed our weekend stay with our 3 young kids in Roundtop! The house was exactly as pictured and described, and the pool was perfect for a couple of hot August days. Very convenient location and the owner is quick to respond. Highly recommend!
The house was great, the rustic decor was charming. The pool awesome and we had an amazing time. We would definitely stay there again.
Enjoyed the rooms.....decorated very nicely. Stocked with everything you would need and the pool was an added bonus to cool off!!
Charming decor with spacious rooms!
The beds were so comfortable! The pictures don't do it justice! Great place for a family gathering. The only con was the water pressure was very low, and the hot water was non-existent on the morning we checked out. Overall, it was a lovely experience.
Big Comfortable Property
Our group was in Round Top to catch a couple of nights of music at The Bugle Boy in LaGrange. It was a cold weekend and we were thankful for the warmth provided by this big home.
It is directly across from Marburger Farms and almost exactly in between Warrington and Round Top. It is close to Festival Hill and only 2 miles from restaurants and the square in Round Top.
