Great location, plenty of space, clean...all my family needed!

  • 5 of 5

The home is in a wonderful location. Plenty of room for our four teenagers. Nice kitchen, plenty of sleeping space, and large enough bathroom (even for only having one). House had everything we needed...beds, linen, pillows, blankets, towels, dishes, etc, etc! The town of Palisade is small but the people are great. Had a great time walking around Main Street and visiting one of the local bars. Good beer and wine. Also, Grand Junction is fairly close and we also spent time in Moab and Glenwood Springs. Got a chance to meet Michelle and her father. Very welcoming.

Perfect location & very clean!

  • 4 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our girls weekend visiting the wineries and checking out the local farmers market on Sunday morning. The location is perfect, you are right around the corner from main street in Palisade. We walked to the bike rental place and walked to dinner & breakfast places. Never needed a car our whole stay. There were 6 adults and it was nice for each of us to have a bed. Everyone said their beds were comfortable, I even slept on the trundle bed and it was surprisingly very comfortable as well. We did not hang out at the house much, mostly wanted to explore Palisade on our bikes, but there was plenty of space for all 6 of us when we were there. The house was very clean and there were plenty of towels for all of us. We did run out of toilet paper on the last morning and couldn't find any extra supplies, the cupboards are fairly bare so just make sure to bring all your food with you, including coffee which we forgot but thankfully was just a quick walk to the local grocery store! Palisade is absolutely charming and beautiful and I would highly recommend it, you can't beat the location of this house!

Place was perfect! Right downtown, perfect location, perfect house. 2 blocks from the cruiser bike rental shop to bike around the vineyard tour. Clean, fully stocked, even a backyard with a grill and comfortable patio furniture to enjoy your own party. 10/10 would rent again. Thanks!!

Clean, and very close to downtown attractions

  • 4 of 5

The house was cute and clean with a great location to downtown Palisade. We stayed in July and the house was at 90 degrees when we arrived. Without fans to help cool it down, it was quite hot that first night. After figuring out the air conditioning, it worked really well in the main rooms, but in the bedrooms it was stuffy. While the place sleeps 6, 2 of the beds are on the front porch, which was too warm. Also, I think the beds are some type of child's bed? They are short and skinny. I'm thin and 5'9 but just barely fit on it. The house was very clean but pretty sparse when it came to day to day things. It had a small unkept backyard, but had a grill. The free cable was nice, but a DVD player would have been great for our rainy day. The owner or caretaker was very helpful concerning entertainment ideas. It was perfect for our 4 night, girl's getaway.

Owner's Response: Hello Leigh, Thank you for your review. We really regret that your stay was not as comfortable as our previous guests have stated in their reviews. I am not sure what happened with the A/C upon arrival, we always turn it on to cool the house down about four hours prior to the earliest allowed arrival time. We really wish you would have called us so we could figure out what was wrong and had a chance to resolve the issue. We would have been happy to help! Our area in July is very hot and understand how this would be uncomfortable. Upon receiving your review, we had an HVAC company go check it out and all is clear. We hope to have a chance to host your stay again and hope that next time you stay will be as stellar as our previous guests have stated in their reviews. Michelle

Great property!

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I went to Palisade for a girls trip and really enjoyed our stay at this property! The house was the perfect size and very comfortable. We loved relaxing in the backyard after our trip to the wineries! The house is also perfectly located within easy walking distance of downtown as well as the brewery and distillery. We will definitely stay here again!
