About Jack Lundstedt
We fell in love with Raystown Lake after camping here for many years. Once we had kids we decided to purchase a place close to the lake so our kids would always have this experience and memories.
Jack Lundstedt purchased this House in 2006
Why Jack Lundstedt chose Huntingdon
Location! Location! Location! Floating in a no wake zone and having it so close to the house was what sold us.
What makes this House unique
Location! Location! Location! This property allows walking distance access to Lake Raystown in a beautiful cove which is no wake. Dock, Float, Kayak, take a lawn chair down by the lake. We really enjoy hanging out by the fire on the front porch or rear deck.

Excellent location for family get away!
Everyone really enjoyed our weekend! Lots to do and plenty of room for all.
Comfortable with awesome air-conditioning
When we first arrived we were pleased to see the place is spacious with good size rooms, bathrooms and that basement play area, comfortable beds and great air-conditioning and clean. The front porch is great for morning wake up and the shady back deck and grill are an extra plus. Covered space below the back deck, it is a dry zone, gets you outside even if it rains. Fire pit is also a plus and one of the selling points for us. Only drawback of fire pit is the property is on a down slope to the lake so there is no flat ground makes seating a little difficult. We managed. Woods and trails to lake are shaded. Not too far from grocery or fishing supplies and plenty of places to buy fire wood. The Landlord, Jack, was quite easy to deal with and was very patient with us since the family we split the rental with sent their part of payment late but Jack was understanding.
The property is on a slope as note with fire pit. That slope is quite steep for a short distance on return trip from lake if you take the private trail behind the house. The public trail is a constant slope to the house but both can take the wind out of even a fit person. 300 yards was more like 400 on public trail, 300 on private to the water. The trails also have a lot of poison ivy and oak all along both paths. This is an issue for me since I am quite allergic to both. Beach at base of public trial is small so get there early. Better to rent a pontoon boat and enjoy the entire lake.
My only issue with Jack is I like to talk to people and reached out to him via phone several times before getting there but only received email replies. A more personal touch with speaking over the phone would be nice. Lastly we received the complete set of rental dos, dont's and need as we arrived. Thankful people often leave little things behind for others such as dishwashing liquid.
All in all a beautiful place on a beautiful great big lake surrounded by plenty to do. This place has it all for all types of outdoor adventures. We all would rent it again and would recommend it to friends.
Thanks again Jack for allowing us to stay in you place.

Spacious beautiful property
Very spacious and accommodating for our large family. The house was beautiful. The kitchen had a fully loaded kitchen. Fire pit area and yard was so relaxing.
Great location and comfortable home
This was our second time staying at this home. We love the accessibility to the lake and Seven Points. Home is quiet and comfortable and Jack is always good about any requests.
Nice, homey vacation spot for families to relax
Lots of options to spread out...the front porch (my favorite), the back patio, the basement, the living room, or down by the fire! My grandson's favorite spot was the swing in the backyard!
Owner was easy to work with and quick to respond.
Nice, clean, woodsy atmosphere to enjoy after a day on the lake! We hope to go back again!
Great place, Peaceful, Nice spot on the lake
We really enjoyed our time here. Very peaceful setting, quiet. Few neighbors, really minimal noise and surrounded by trees. We had 2 families in the house, and plenty of room for everyone, especially with the pull out bed/space in the finished basement, which was also great for a movie night. The kids loved the backyard tree swing - I think they were on it almost anytime we were back at the house. Also some games and toys for the kids which worked out good too. Great fire pit and good sized yard to have a birthday cookout and gathering. We rented a slip for our boat at Seven Points, only about 10 minutes or so to get there, so pretty convenient. We kept the trailer at the marina, but there was plenty of room in the driveway for several cars and a boat trailer. We all liked being able to walk down the road/path to the cove from the house. Could easily swim and kayak in the cove. We have an inflatable kayak so it wasn't too bad to carry it down the path to the cove. A larger heavier kayak would be a workout coming back up for sure. Decent slope down/up. A great time, great place, wouldn't hesitate to come back here again.
