Why Owner chose Turks & Caicos Islands

My husband and I have always dreamed of a second home in the Caribbean. For many years we traveled all the islands, St. Thomas, St. John, Antigua, Virgin Islands and Turks and Caicos. By our third visit to Provo we found our island. Not only is the island easily accessible from the United States, Canada and other Caribbean Islands, the peaceful aqua blue waters were breathtaking. But the final decision occurred the minute we walked into Paradise Pointe (formerly Villa Patricia). The amazing view, lush gardens, private setting with gazebo and ocean swim dock was magnificent. The Villa had a welcoming aura and the island stone walls and open architecture of this home made it a true island paradise. In fact all the amenities and the seclusion from the tourists make it it's own mini-resort. The ability to walk to the beautiful Taylor Bay Beach area was the icing on the cake when we knew that we need not pack the kids, toys, and swim gear to drive to a beach. Since our purchase in 2012 our only regret is that at this time we are unable to live there full time. So, until the day arrives we decided to let others experience a little bit of our Paradise Pointe.

What makes this villa unique

The Villa is within a 3 minute walk to the Beautiful Taylor Bay. On our stays we can enjoy this beach with our family and friends relaxing and enjoying one another without the typical intrusion of other people or pesky vendors. If we are up for a game of tennis the courts are right next to the beach. So, a quick game of tennis then a long relaxing float in the ocean waters. Of course a short drive will take you into the middle of all the tourists attractions, but it's always nice to enjoy the tranquility of the island in your personal surroundings.

Please understand that this property is composed of a main house and a guest house. The main house has 2 king bed en-suites. If you are a family with children please realize that to accommodate 6, 2 guests will be using the guest house which is not connected to main house. For families with more than 2 small children this property may not be convenient for you.

Guestbook comments from the owner

What an amazing Villa. Honeymoon with wife and absolutely loved it. Parasailing with Captain Marvin got us higher than 400 feet. Awesome time and views of entire island. Snorkel and swim on Grace Bay Beach and down on our Villa Beach. Kayaking was a blast.

Food: Las Brisas had the best food. (Grilled Snapper and TBone)

Tiki Hut: Amazing views and fun

Somewhere: Great BBQ Pork. Meet the owners. Great people

Danny Bouys: Nice and Friendly folks

Groceries - we hit every grocery store. Avoid Graceway go to Smart. Better prices, and quality.

Get to Salt Mills Plaza and get a Cuban Crafters Cigar if you like very fresh and smooth.

Nothing like seeing your beautiful wife in the sun enjoying life.

Much more than I ever expected!!!!

Wow. There are not enough words to describe how beautiful and tranquil this place is. I had seen many photos of the house, beach and grounds prior to arriving and as beautiful as the photos were none of them did it justice! There is just no way to capture the beauty of this island in a photo. Experiencing the natural beauty of this island is spectacular! The house and guest house were PERFECT! I love the decor and I know I commented at least a half dozen times how much I love the tile work in the house and outside!!! Gorgeous! The gazebo was our favorite spot each morning and again in the evening. During the day we either walked across the street to Taylor Bay (gorgeous beach...white sand...the most stunning colors!) or we would hang out on the dock which is surrounded by beautiful rock formations. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the dock..I normally am at the beach almost every waking moment when I go on a tropical vacation, but the dock at Sue's house is wonderful and I spent more time there than I thought I would. The house and grounds are gorgeous. Plenty of room for us to play cards and board games at night with a separate deck for grilling. Perfect accommodations, Perfect location, Perfect hosts....Paradise Perfect!! I can't thank Sue and John enough for sharing their little piece of paradise with us girls! We had a GREAT time! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Paradise Indeed!

  • 5 of 5

I just returned from an 8 night stay at this beautiful beach house and I can't say enough about how amazing it is! Pictures just can't do it justice, the views are breathtaking! The beach house has everything you need to make your stay perfect and Sue is very easy to work with and went over and above to accommodate our group! The house is very private and secluded! One of my favorite spots was the private dock/deck area with steps down into the ocean! I spent at least part of every day there, walking in the shallow water, kayaking, and just enjoying the sun and gorgeous views!! It's an easy walk to Taylor Bay, just across the street and an easy drive to anywhere you want to go. One of my fav dining spots was Danny Buoys... try the fish & chips!

I've traveled many places and this is by far one of my most favorite for the accommodations and views... not to mention the light breezes that keep the bugs away and allow you to stay cool even when the sun is shining!

Thank you Sue for an unforgettable vacation!!! We couldn't have asked for more! This truly is a little piece of paradise💗

Paradise Perfected

  • 5 of 5

Stayed in the beautiful villa and guest house for 8 nights with my 2 sisters and 2 girlfriends. It was absolutely, by far, the best vacation ever! The villa and guest house are amazing...having a private dock on the ocean was spectacular and a refreshing pool outside your door was beyond perfect. We literally stayed at the villa and soaked up the Caribbean sun for most of our time there. We did journey into town a couple nights to participate in Karaoke though... had tons of fun. Had coffee in the gazebo every morning gazing out over the ocean. It truly was paradise and we hated to leave and can't wait to go back again! Thank you Sue for letting us enjoy your slice of heaven!

Perfect Paradise!!!

  • 5 of 5

The pictures are amazing of this place but the actual view is something unforgettable! My daughter and I really enjoyed discovering all the beautiful flowers types & colors on the property.  And the breeze from the sea was awesome. The main villa is very comfortable, clean, and we felt as though we (husband & I) could live there.  Everything is here as far as cooking/bbq, a professional style kitchen, Reverse Osmosis Water Filter (perfect water) coolers, floats, 30+ sunscreens,  kayaks, squirt guns, cards, board games, internet… we absolutely needed nothing.  My husband & I, our 2 kids (ages 6 & 8), and my aunt and uncle went as a family of 6, and we found this property to fit all of our needs. The kitchen had everything for us to cook at least 2 meals daily (actually a few more some days) and 2 large family tables to dine (inside and screened patio).  Our kids loved playing in the shallow water just steps off the dock, and found many friendly creatures (snails).  I was concerned about our kids playing on the rocks by the dock, but quickly calmed after doing it myself.  The rocks would not be a place for toddlers but definitely kept our kids busy, along with the crevices, snails, shells and even small curly tail lizards!  We LOVED the gazebo/patio and we enjoyed coffee every morning out there, not to mention a few cocktails too.  The architecture is amazing and very unique inside including the open ceiling beams and trusses.  Very cool. One of the best features was our own private and very secluded view of the ocean and bay.  This is NOT stacked in a tourist, overcrowded area with parasail boats messing up your view.  This is private luxury cottage on a secluded and breathtaking bay.  The ocean water gets lighter blue at the horizon on this part of the island which I think is due to the large reef south of the island.  The tourist area on the north side of the island is not like this as the ocean shelf is much closer.  Where this home sits, the shelf goes out a long ways, and it makes for one of the most memorable and breathtaking views we have ever, ever seen.  We can’t say enough about this cottage.   Through Exclusive Resorts, we’ve been to the Abaci Club on Winding Bay (Bahamas) and the Ritz Carlton in Virgin Islands, been to so many places in Mexico (Cancun, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Cabo San Lucas), Hawaii, and our family lives in Destin Florida and THIS COTTAGE WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL & RELAXING BEACH VACATION EVER!!!!!!!  We plan to go back soon!!

ABSOLUTE PEACE AND TRANQUILITY

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I went with another couple for our Anniversary. This home was better in person than in any photo shown. The privacy, tranquility, beauty and amenities where more than we could have asked for. The Gazebo as you may read in other's reviews is absolutely perfect for escaping the sun and enjoying a book, music, games, cocktail or nap. The wind blows perfectly to lull you to sleep if you so choose. The dock and access to the water we felt was better than any other property we saw while swimming or kayaking up and down the coast line. The owners could not have been more helpful and even helped us organize a chef to come to the home to cook for our anniversary dinner. The villa is very tastefully decorated, clean and just the perfect spot to gather with family and friends. The island contact was helpful when greeting us and to answer any questions we had throughout our trip. the pool is amazing and refreshing and the ocean water can not be beat with it's clarity and beauty. We kayaked to Taylor Beach a few times and that was nice to take a cooler and relax for a day. Truly the best in my opinion of anything we looked at and saw in person. Can not wait to go back very soon!

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking time to write a review concerning your stay at our Villa. From the looks of the pictures you sent, you enjoyed the house as much as we do So glad you enjoyed your time with Keron and then of course James. You know when we were on island James continued you tell us stories of your visit. As I told you the island people are the kindest and most welcoming people for our guests and tourists. It was really terrific getting to know you through our on line communication. I hope that some day you will have the opportunity to return to the island. I know James would love to see you again. We will see him in August and send you a photo. Hope to hear from you again soon that you will return to the island to have another cold "Happy" Drink. Kindest, Sue

True "Paradise"

  • 5 of 5

Wow!! My husband and I recently returned from a one week stay at Paradise Pointe. I can without a doubt say that this was the perfect place to stay to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. It was even better than we expected. The villa is so very beautiful and has all the comforts of home. There's not one thing that the owners have forgotten to include for their guests. Even beach chairs, coolers, pool loungers, sunscreen, bug spray, games, books, puzzles, etc. are there for the guests. The furnishings of the home are lovely and comfortable as well. The layout of the villa is just right! There's a fantastic view of the beautiful turquoise waters of Sapadillo Bay from the villa almost everywhere you look. The screened in dining area and sitting room was a very nice place to relax and to get some relief from the sun while still feeling the ocean breeze. With the villa open, there's always a cool breeze that flows through making the island experience even more perfect. We enjoyed having morning coffee and evening drinks in the outdoor gazebo overlooking the bay. The view there is amazing! The cool water of the outdoor pool was very refreshing with an amazing view as well. We spent lots of time relaxing and sunning on the deck below near the bay. It was another of our favorite spots. Just take a few steps down from there and you're in the bay enjoying the calm, clear, beautiful water whether it be swimming or going out in the kayak (provided). We kayaked over to the beautiful Taylor Bay, and on another day to the overturned shipwreck on the corner of Sapadillo Bay. That was really incredible! The owners answered all of our questions and gave great suggestions for packing, dining and exploring as we were preparing for our trip. That was so personable and helpful for us. Once we arrived, the management staff was available if we needed anything. Some of the suggestions we tried were snorkeling at Coral Gardens then lunch at Somewhere. That was really fun and so easy to snorkel right off the beach. We enjoyed lunch and the spectacular view at Las Brisas. We even attempted to paddle board there which was quite a challenge for me! Lunch at the Conch Shack was casual and nice. Mango Reef at Turtle Cove was at the marina. Bay Bistro was delicious! We reserved a beach table there. This place IS paradise, and I can say that Paradise Pointe is the perfect place to soak it all in! Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us! We hope to return soon.

Owner's Response: So happy to hear that you enjoyed your anniversary and time spent at Paradise Pointe. Funny we have never been to the Bistro restaurant you mentioned so our return trip in August will find us checking out your recommendation. I a proud that you even attempted Stand Up Paddle boarding. I have never attempted this activity but I am always jealous when I watch the people cruising by our house. They make it look so easy yet I know it is not. Heck we turn over the kayaks just getting into them right there in front of our beach area and it's shallow enough to just step in. But,....it is a hilarious sight to watch my husband and I try to both get in without tipping one over. Guess that's why we decided to buy another, thus we each get our own kayak!!! I certainly hope you will keep the memories alive and someday return the island. You are always welcome to come stay with us again. Kindest, The Owners

Car: necessary

Paradise Pointe is within walking distance (3 minutes) of the Beautiful Taylor Bay area. Taylor Bay is shallow for hundreds of yards, making it a perfect place for a private picnic or sunset wedding. Kids can play in a huge area of chest-high water, and parents don't have to worry about dangerous drop-offs. The beach also offers gorgeous views.Of course you can always spend your time swimming from the Villa's private dock area and enjoy the morning and evening ocean breezes from the Private Gazebo or Screened In Living Area.

If you must leave, a 15-minute drive takes you to Provo's resort area, restaurants, shopping and attractions. Remember your private tennis courts (available to guests) are a 2 minute walk towards Taylor Bay Beach.
