Central apartment with easy access to airport and main tourist sites

This modern 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment is furnished and decorated to a high standard and will make a very comfortable base for your visit. The 10ft ceilings make it a very light, bright place to enjoy your stay in Edinburgh. Located in the popular West End, this is an ideal place to stay when visiting Edinburgh. It is at the end of the world famous Princes Street and easy walking distance to all attractions. You will find a wide selection of shops, boutiques, cafes, bars, restaurants, pubs, bistros and grocery stores on stepping out the door. Next to the apartment entrance is a Sainsbury Local (grocery store) where you can buy everything you need for your stay.

The lounge/dining room/kitchen area is bright and spacious with wood floors. There is comfortable sofa seating for 4. The dining area has a table and chairs for 4 and is adjacent to the fully-equipped kitchen. The kitchen has an electric hob, oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and small washer/dryer - all that you will need to make life easy while on vacation.

Bedroom 1 is spacious with an en-suite shower room. The bed is a US Queen (UK King) size. Free standing closet provides ample storage for all your belongings. This room overlooks the rear of the property ensuring a peaceful nights sleep. There is a flat screen TV in this bedroom. The en-suite shower room is fully tiled and has a heated towel rail and shaver point.

Bedroom 2 has a double bed and is also at the rear of the property.

A full bathroom is accessed off the hallway. This has a shower over the bath tub. Again with heated towel rail and shaver point.

Access to the local bus system is at the front door. This is a wonderful way of getting around Edinburgh - you would expect a bus to take you along Princes Street within minutes (there are apps to give the real time position of the buses!). Haymarket Station is a 5 minute walk and Waverley Station is a 20 minute walk or 8 minutes by taxi. The apartment is less than 7 miles from the Edinburgh Airport and is connected by bus, tram or taxi.

Clean spacious comfortable convenient

Property manager was tremendously helpful, the apartment was clean, beds comfortable, convenient to mass transit, we didn't need a car. Even though it's very near the action the apartment was quiet at night, easy to fall asleep in the comfortable beds. Had plenty of room and was well stocked, I would stay there again.

The flat was clean and spacious. Really well located near shops and attractions as well as transit options. Stocked with essentials such as milk, bread, jam, tea and coffee. Perfect for 2 couples spending a few days in Edinburgh.

Absolutely Great Location and Accomodations

My wife, I and two old friends stayed at this wonderful apartment. The location was great and conveniently located for exploring Edinburgh. The apartment was spotless and with the bedrooms located away from the street we had very peaceful sleeping environment. Everything is very well organized in the apartment. There's a notebook containing information about the area, information about the building, and even instruction manuals for the appliances. Karen met us when we arrived and was very helpful with information about the accommodations and amenities available in the area.

The Perfect Place in Edinburgh

We absolutely loved our stay at Andrew's place. The location is perfect, in ten minutes you can be to anywhere you want in the city. There is a grocery mart right below the apartment which is so convenient to have. The apartment itself was great, clean and organized; allowing us to jump right into enjoying our stay. Andrew even had a welcome basket with some basics like: tea, bread, milk, sugar and short bread cookies. Karen met us there and gave a quick rundown of the area which was greatly appreciated. We would gladly stay at this location again! Thank you

Excellent Experience

This apt is very clean, quiet and comfortable. Great location next to one grocery store with 2nd one across the street. Many busses stop within a block so most any destination is easy. Airport express bus stop is just a few steps from the door. We loved our stay and highly recommend this apt.

Very comfortable apartment in an excellent location to explore Edinburgh.

Stayed in this wonderful apartment April 30 to May 4, 2017. Excellent experience with this apartment, beginning with the rental process to our reception by Karen. The apartment is very comfortable, light and airy. We were treated to a care package upon arrival of bread, butter, jam, milk and coffee; excellent start. The water heaters, washer/dryer, and dishwasher all worked perfectly. The location is perfect for this city. Very close to the castle and New Town. Close to shopping and restaurants. A Grocery store and pub two steps from the apartment. Loved it. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Andrew and Karen!

Our apartment is within easy walking distance of the Castle, the Royal Mile and most of Edinburgh's major attractions. Stepping out the main door you will find colourful, stylish boutiques and some of the city's most-loved pubs and bars which combine to create a bohemian feel to this part of Edinburgh. In the surrounding streets, award-winning retailers and restaurants live side-by-side with inspired architectural buildings.

This is a good base for day trips to Glasgow, St Andrews, Stirling and the Borders. Visit one of 12 Edinburgh Festivals - Fringe, International, Books, Film, Art, Jazz and Blues to name just a few. Easy access to the local bus system and taxis if you don't want to walk. Around 30 minutes from the airport by tram, bus or taxi.
