The lodge is five thousand square feet of rustic luxury, perched on a hill overlooking pecan trees and lush fields where Elk wander less than a hundred yards from the lodge. It’s a log cabin with four master bedrooms, each has a queen and twin bed and it’s own private bath. The rooms are spacious enough to accommodate a group of seasoned outdoorsmen, but elegant enough to pamper couples and families wanting a weekend getaway. In the great room, vaulted ceilings and slate floors accompany leather sofas and chairs great for conversation or watching the flat screen tv. The kitchen is a cooks dream with granite counters, wolfe range, sub zero fridge and warming drawer. It is open to the great room and has a breakfast bar with stools so everyone can keep you company while you prepare the meals. On the other side of the Great Room is the bar area with two mini fridges, ice maker, sink and bar with more stools. And, in the cool of night, under a canopy of stars, you can sit out by the fire pit right next to the lake and tell all your fish stories by the dancing fire and the howl of the coyotes.
Ken and Trina have been together 30 years, the last 17 in the hospitality business. We live on a 1200 acre working ranch raising cattle, horses and whitetail deer. We have 3 kids, Jackson (21), Hannah (20) and Sarah (18). Our free time is spent traveling, rodeoing, hunting and enjoying our family.
Trina Beshears purchased this lodge in 2002
Off the beaten path yet close to the major cities of DFW and Austin. The well appointed lodge has been featured in multiple publications. Wildlife galore is found here with fishing off the back porch. Peaceful and quiet.
The ranch is across the street from the world famous Circle T Arena, home to all things western equestrian, the Inn at Circle T, award winning hotel and Crossfire steak house.
Good for a family and/or group of friends to get away and relax. The Owners were very accommodating, the place is very well kept, and overall a great place to relax.
We had a wonderful time at the little bear creek lodge! We fished a lot, played games, exercised, and enjoyed the company of our family in the spacious lodge! The rooms are perfect for privacy and allow you to spread out. We will be back for sure!!
Ken and Trina welcome you to Little Bear Creek Lodge with good ole’ Texan hospitality. Little Bear Creek is a working cattle ranch in the Texas Hill Country. When you see the Lodge you’ll think you have gone to an upscale resort instead of a cattle ranch! If you long for beautiful sunsets, peaceful mornings sitting on the deck watching the swirling mist above the pond, Texas wildflowers, wildlife grazing peacefully nearby and sitting around a fire pit under starry skies then this is the place for you. The Lodge is beautiful, spacious and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is a cook’s dream — a beautiful stove, large refrigerator and everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal is at your finger tips and the open design means the cook is in the heart of things. If cooking is not your priority you can arrange to have delicious catered dinners. There is a restaurant and music venue nearby for those who want to step out for an evening. It truly is a great place for a friends or family reunion. If you're looking for a wedding venue they have just completed a beautiful outdoor area near the lodge with the pond and rolling hills as a backdrop.
I setup a guys weekend for 8 of my buddies from college. We had not all been together in years as we have all started families and most of us have children. This place is amazing!! The Lodge itself is a perfect group setting. It has a great gathering place indoors but an even better one outdoors. The firepit is perfect. We stayed out by the pit most of the night and had a great time. The lodge has an amazing sound system so we used it to play music that you can hear from the pit. In the morning we enjoyed seeing some of their exotic game roam around. I cannot recommend this place enough and I feel like pictures don't do this place justice because it is really and truly that nice. We did some shooting on some family land near by but later on we found out that they even have sheet shooting. We will definitely be back sometime in the near future. Our family is even thinking about a family reunion there as they are currently building a cool looking pavilion.
Great place for groups to meet for weekend. Kids and adults had plenty to do and see. Great lodge and location. Will be staying again next year. Lodge included everything we could need. Kids loved fishing, hiking and making smores.
This lodge was big enough to accommodate my whole family!! It was beautiful to wake up every morning & sit on the back porch & watch all the exotic animals that are all around. Having the lake there & able to fish was a big bonus for my family!! It was a very relaxing week for us & the whole family really enjoyed the Lodge & everything it had to offer. We would most definitely go back for another vacation!!
We are just 4.5 miles from downtown Hamilton where there is shopping and a wonderful variety of restaurants around the square.
Circle T Arena is just across the highway from the ranch. The arena also houses a great steakhouse, Crossfire Steakhouse and Bar. They have live music on some weekends. The arena is also home to Punchy Cowgirl Western Boutique. They carry tack and supplies for your horse and fashion and boots for the whole family.
