Perfect family spot
We were so happy with our stay here. Our 4 year old was just enamored with the “camper van.” It has all the amenities (and more) of a hotel, but with so much more privacy and in such a relaxing location. We had such a great time, and communication with the hosts was great. Suttons Bay is a lovely towns and has a wonderful little beach that’s perfect for kids. We will definitely be back!
Leah and her group were great guests! They left the place as clean as when they arrived and were helpful to us by giving us feedback. Love to have them back
Great option for Leelanau county stay
We have used this camper on two different visits to the Traverse City area and have really enjoyed ourselves both times. There were four of us - my wife and I, our 5 year old grand-daughter, and adult son. The beds are very comfortable, it's roomy (for a camper!), and well-appointed kitchen, plates, cups, utensils, etc. We especially like the patio and picnic table, and cooked on the grill most days. In the few cases where we had questions or minor concerns, the owners were incredibly responsive and very generous with their time. It's important to emphasize that this is a camper, and not a luxury apartment in the middle of the city. If you enjoy camping, this is an excellent option for your stay in the Traverse City area.
So clean and so close to so many restaurants shops and trails and water and wine tasting..etc..
I would definitely go back and recommend to any family or couple it has everything you need. The kitchen was perfect! Our family had a wonderful stay!!
Our family enjoyed this stay! Perfect set up, everything you need.
This is so much better than a hotel! We love camping, and they had everything you need to enjoy your stay. Plenty of room for our family of 6. Property owners communicated promptly and clearly. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks! Thanks again for everything!
Thank you! You left everything in beautiful condition and so glad you used the kayaks!
Clean & comfortable RV, & met all our needs. The deck & picnic table w chairs nice to sit outdoors.
We also enjoyed biking into Sutton's Bay. Everything in good condition!
Great place to stay in Suttons Bay
My wife and I stayed in the camper for six nights in August, 2017, with our grand-daughter. It worked out great for us. The camper was clean and well-stocked, including two "townie" bikes and kayaks. We used the stove and grill several times and appreciated the roomy fridge and freezer (roomy for a camper!). The beds were very comfortable and it is on a quiet side road, about a mile from downtown Suttons Bay. The owners were very nice and attentive and responded almost immediately when we had a small problem with the bathroom door.
Potential renters should remember that this is a camper. The bedrooms and bathroom are small with minimal storage compared to a house. On the other hand, the grill, stove, fridge, patio and yard are a definite step up from hotels. We really enjoyed it. If you want a peaceful, comfortable rental away from the heavy tourist traffic in Suttons Bay, we highly recommend this place. We would definitely stay here again when we get up that way again.
