I bought this property because it is in a great little neighborhood, has excellent access to Central and North Austin, and has a great feel to it. This unit sits back off the street and has a very private feel to it. Very comfortable.

What makes this house unique

I loved the private little backyard (still in the potential stage) and the big trees in the yard! The property is uniquely positioned near Mopac for easy access to downtown AND very close to the Technology Corridor. Perfect for access to Google, Dell, IBM, Seton North, Apple, Flextronics, National Instruments, and a host of others. One exit from the Domain. Why stay in a stuffy hotel when you can have all the comforts of home??

Splendid and ideal

This cozy bungalow is excellently appointed, beautifully staged and more than adequately stocked. It feels like home the moment you walk in. The pre-visit “instructions/info sheet” is awesome and sets you up to hit the ground running. My wife and I really enjoyed quiet evenings having a glass of wine in the private backyard. I will definitely stay here every time I come to town. Unless you, reading this, are currently checked in that is.

Very clean and well-furnished

We booked this duplex last minute and luckily it turned out to be just what we needed. Trenton (the owner) has a very easy check in/ check out process and he emailed us all important info before our arrival. We had some last minute schedule changes with friends but he was very patient was willing to accommodate if needed.

Located in a small neighborhood off MOPAC its has easy access to everywhere. Just across the highway are any Major store franchises you'd need for toiletries, grocers, etc. Downtown is about 10min drive, 15 to reach south Austin. I didn't mind the duplex being outside of town (it was nice to get away after a long day in the crowded city) but unfortunately at night they shut down the highway (MOPAC) for construction which made for a longer drives home then expected.

We only ran into the gentleman who lives in the other half of the duplex once, he is a nice man with an even friendlier cat named Pole Salad ☺️. If you get a chance to look closely his name is engraved in the driveway cement!

All in all this place ended up being a great value. Next time we may consider staying in one of austin's neighboorhoods that has a bit more to experience and explore, but for a clean and comfortable stay (the master has a great feather mattress) this place is great for the price!

Quiet, comfortable

This property was what we were looking for when we visited Austin recently for RTX. Beds were comfortable, house was roomy, backyard was cute & big enough for the couple of days with our dogs. The bathrooms were clean & spacious, plenty of linens bathroom & bedroom wise, and we really appreciated the household items like dish soap and laundry soap being available!

My only suggestion to the owner would be to make sure whoever cleans checks under the couch - my dog found some fries! Which, how would you know if you weren't the one who spilled them, the guest who made that mess should have been more responsible.

I will definitely see if this property is available the next time we visit Austin!

Wonderful Stay!

We enjoyed the home very much. The master bedroom was amazing! It was very large with a super comfortable bed and large walk in shower. It was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our trip - even reusable grocery bags (Because Austin Band Plastic Bags)!

The lights out back were an added bonus, we so enjoyed relaxing out back in he evenings.

We definitely would recommend this home to anyone!
