A private get away in plain site.
This has got to be one of the best kept secrets in Greensboro N.C. I enjoyed the tranquility of our room. Our hosts are both wonderful people, attentive, yet open, and easy to talk to. My wife, and I are already trying to find a time to return. Some reviews I've read state the trains are a bit noisy.I on the other hand find them to be quite mesmerizing. Breakfast is served between 7am,and 9,and is ready when one exits the stairs into the Kitchen,An excellent breakfast indeed.I'd go back, time, and again, Good job you guys. P.S I also enjoyed the get away from hassleing with a TV,or social media of any kind while in house...L.K.
Gorrell Street is off of MLK, 2 blocks east of S. Elm, 1 block north of Gate City Blvd., in the Southside Neighborhood. We are 1.5 miles north of I-40.
