The suite has been restored to its original condition with color coordinated period drapes, bedspread, matching furniture, and Wilson memorabilia. The suite, which is accessed by a beautiful walnut stair hall, has tall windows providing wonderful views of Smith Creek on the East side and Massanutten Mountain to the West. The suite boasts a “sleigh” queen size bed and is “presidential.” The Wilsons, who were relatives, were often at Rosendale. Sleeps two.

Rosendale Inn Bed and Breakfast
Welcome to Rosendale Inn, a historic Shenandoah Valley bed and breakfast lodging located midway between New Market and Harrisonburg and just 15 minutes from Luray. Since 1790, Rosendale has graciously hosted presidents, their first ladies, foreign ministers, aviation pioneers, explorers, and celebrities.
Celebrating over 200 years of hospitality, Innkeepers Paul Murphy and Juanita Miller take pride in faithfully preserving “the Rosendale tradition” for their 21st Century guests.
In the heart of Virginia’s wine country (eight vineyards 10-20 minutes away) and central to Endless, Shenandoah and Luray Caverns, the New Market Civil War Museum and Battlefield, Skyline Drive, and more, Rosendale promises history, beauty, serenity, nature, and an abundance of things to do.
We receive dozens of calls a year from people asking how far our Inn is from Luray. Did you know that we are only 15 minutes or so from the underground wonders of the Caverns, the Shenandoah National Park, and the breathtaking views and hiking opportunities along Skyline Drive?
