Loved this condo!

  • 5 of 5

Perfect size and space for 4 of us. Loved the living room area and view from balcony. Some traffic noise from nearby freeway but not bad when balcony door is closed. Short walk to downtown Hood River. Allowed our pet to stay too.

Great location

  • 5 of 5

Great location with a beautiful view of Mt. Adams and the river from the deck and master bedroom. The townhouse is about a 10-15 minute walk downtown and close to Safeway, several wineries and easy access to the freeway. The townhouse was super clean and decorated very nicely with all the right amenities.

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

Just a short walk away from downtown coffee shops, stores and restaurants this place is located in an ideal spot. The view of Mt Adams is very impressive and some days you can sit on the deck watching wind surfers while enjoying the wine you just picked up from Cathedral ridge winery just up the road. It is a newer house and is kept in tip top condition by the owners. The two bedrooms are great for two couples and a child could sleep on the pull out sofa, but with 1 1/2 bathrooms more people could get uncomfortable. There is a garage that is available for your bikes, or wind surfing gear or other stuff which can come in handy.

Hood River is becoming a destination getaway because of the many activities available and a blossoming downtown and riverfront area.

Wonderful pet friendly facility

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I and another couple celebrated a mutual anniversary with a weekend at this condo in Hood River recently. We had a fabulous time! The facility was everything that was promised in the website. The view from the living room, deck and main bedroom is spectacular. The furnishings were very comfortable. Even the bath towels are luxurious. The weather cooperated, and we had a marvelous 7 mile hike on the Coyote Wall trail on the other side of the river near Bingen. But even if it had been raining, this would still have been a great place to stay. It is within easy walking distance of downtown, which has really good restaurants and coffee shops. You can also walk to Safeway easily, if you don't need to carry much back. There's also a great drive up in the fruit growing area above the town. We would certainly stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

We had an amazing time at Sunny Spot at 1515! We brought our two pups and walked them all over downtown and by the river. Such a great location. The living area was awesome. So relaxing and comfortable. We hope to come back soon!

Other Activities:

The Columbia River Gorge, with its mountains and rivers, offers the vacationer and recreation enthusiast the opportunity to windsurf, mountain bike, kayak, golf, ski, hike, fish, or just relax in the unhurried pace of a natural paradise. Historic buildings line the beautifully scenic streets of downtown Hood River, with a bustling shopping district featuring boutiques, designer shops, outdoor adventure gear outfitters, antique shops, art galleries and no less than 30 restaurants.

There are many orchards and vineyards in Hood River. The Hood River Valley is known for its luscious apples, pears, cherries, peaches and other fruits, and for the view of the majestic snowcapped peak of Mt. Hood. People from all over Oregon make an annual trek in the fall to the many farm stands to stock up on fresh apples and pears. Other produce is available, and varies by season. The award-winning Hood River Vineyards is located on a hillside overlooking the Hood River Valley. Their tasting room features traditional wines, and fruit liqueurs.

The Columbia River Gorge, with its magnificent views make this a dream spot for a destination wedding.

Wind surfing capital of the world is Hood River's latest distinction. The winds from the Columbia River Gorge, best during the middle of the day, create ideal conditions for riding the waves. To enjoy the view of "boardheads" at play, drive to the Columbia Gorge Sailpark or follow Second Street to the waterfront.

The Mt. Hood region and its more than sixty miles of forested mountains, 77 waterfalls and myriad lakes and streams are a rip-roaring mecca for outdoor adventure. The mountain is home to four ski areas and offers the country?s only year-round skiing and snowboarding.
