Quiet, peaceful Lakehouse getaway! Great experience!

  • 5 of 5

This lovely house on the lake is clean, peaceful and everything we hoped it would be! The lake is quiet with loons, ducks and cranes! A lovely lawn & toys for our grandkids to enjoy, trees separate you from neighbors so it is a quiet setting, the paddleboat made for a fun excursion on part of the lake! Owners very attentive to needs - we appreciated them! Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect!

  • 5 of 5

Our family loved this lake house. We stayed for a week and had a great time. Everything was as expected.

We enjoyed the large grass lawn and four outdoor tables. The yard feels very private because of the thick tree borders between the neighbors.

The house was very well prepared for our stay. There was firewood, household supplies, life jackets, wet suits, cleaning products, DVDs, and everything we needed to enjoy our time at the house.

The owner is super attentive. If you have any questions he responds quickly every time!

I highly recommend this place!

Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was wonderful. We did not get to spend much time at the property as we had full days on our agenda. The location was perfect as we did things in Talkeetna, Palmer, Wasilla and Anchorage area. We were able to easily reach all of these locations. We did take the pontoon boat out one evening for a cruise around the lake and had a beautiful campfire. We did not have the opportunity to use the sauna or any of the kayaks or canoes so we will just have to come back again sometime. The house had absolutely everything we needed and is just beautiful. Thanks for the wonderful stay! The owners were very responsive and called us to see if everything was okay. Highly recommend this property!

Fantastic Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We had a fabulous time with our four grandkids at the Big Lake house. The property is very well maintained and we had plenty of room for the 8 of us. The pontoon boat, canoe, peddle boat and kayaks made the lake really fun for all of us. We enjoyed the sauna every night along with s'moors at the lakeside fire pit.

Scott, the owner, was available by cell/text for questions and attentive to any needs that we might have had.

We are coming back next year.
