Beautiful home full of fruit trees

  • 5 of 5

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the house. It's beautifully decorated, has a kitchen stocked with everything you need, and is a great location in Hilo walking distance to rainbow falls and a short drive downtown. Bobby the housekeeper was a wonderful resource and guide to the area. We hope to come back again soon. At so many fresh fruits from the garden. Would definitely stay again!

Best Home in Hilo!

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful home was so clean and comfortable! We had 6 family members in for our daughter's college graduation and this home was only a few blocks from her house and centrally located to everything! Bobbi was such a gracious hostess and brought us oranges from the back yard! The kitchen was great to work in and had everything we needed after grocery shopping. The beds were all comfortable with nice linens. We loved the beautiful wood floors, the huge dining table and the peep eye ocean view! We would stay here again anytime!

kaneohe, Hi

House not a home. Not kid friendly!

  • 1 of 5

Upon arrival Bobbye came out to greet us. First thing we are told is "this is a single wall construction and I can hear everything". I said we've got a 2 & 3 yr old we'll do our best but we're really only be hear to sleep. We dropped off our stuff and headed to see my Ohana. Some of us returned around 9 showered and went to sleep. My daughter and her husband returned later and did the same. Woke up the next morning at 630 got ready and left for Waimea. Returned around 6pm only to shower and leave again to visit our Ohana in Keaau. We returned late with sleeping babies and showered and slept. The two little ones were up at 630 not running around till 7 when the rest is the family woke up. Anyway Bobbye came upstairs and and said "Can you please respect me and tell the kids to stop running on the hallways. I couldn't sleep. I have a headache." Made a comment "that you came back late last".

From the moment we walked in to your home I was constantly telling my grandchildren to not run ,to walk lightly...very stressful. Not quite the vacation I had in mind. You should not rent out to families. Definitely not kid friendly! Extremely disappointed! You have a beautiful house but it is not a home! We left the house at as quick as we could 9:15am.

Most comfortable place to stay in Hilo

  • 5 of 5

For just two people, this house is extremely roomy. We are even thinking about bringing the rest of the family since there is plenty of space. Very close to downtown, a little view of the ocean and good breezes to cool down with. The kitchen is spacious and easy to use. The property manager, Bobbye, was very informative and pleasant. We definitely will return to this rental.
