Perfect winter getaway

  • 5 of 5

This truly is the perfect winter getaway! We stayed plenty warm despite the subzero weather, with plenty of seasoned firewood and a great woodstove. The time passed quickly as we played games in the spacious living area, watched many deer and a fox just outside the big windows, explored the local roads and trails on cross country skis, and sat outside by the fire pit to study constellations on a spectacular starry night. The kitchen is equipped for any culinary adventure—we even baked a cake to help build stamina! My one regret really was that we couldn’t stay one more day.

Winter Wonderland

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was a perfect snowmobile getaway. The cabin is absolutely beautiful as soon as we walked in we knew we wanted to come back. Waking up to deer grazing in yard everyday, The snowmobile trail is only a couple hundred feet away, very cozy and comfortable made our stay very memorable. We have rented all over Maine this cabin has moved to the top of the list.

Excellent winter break.

Went up for a few days of snowmobiling with the family and even though Mother Nature battled us we still had a great time. Snowmobile trail is easily accessible from the property and their is plenty of trailer parking. Cabin is very nice and has everything you need to have a good family trip including no WiFi. Even when we could not ride due to the weather we had fun playing games and going down to Greenville for some lunch and a walk around town. The only problem we had was that the driveway got very icy but I called the owners and they had someone over right away to put sand down. Lots of deer in the backyard for you to enjoy.

Great place to get away for our snowmobile week!

There were a few minor issues however Kellie and Rich who maintain the property were fantastic to deal with! We'd definitely recommend staying. We are already looking at dates for next year's stay.

This place was more than I expected. My family and I enjoyed it. We loved the wood stove the most. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and family. I can't wait to go back. Thanks again.
