About J.R. & Glenda Stanfield

My wife, Glenda and I (JR) have lived in the Phoenix area since 1970. We have raised 5 children, are retired, but keep very busy and active. Glenda is a hairstylist and does haircutting for the elderly as a ministry. JR likes to play golf and makes golf clubs in his spare time.

This home has been in our family since 1971. My Mom and Dad lived here for almost 40 years. We inherited the property and are keeping it as a rental property. We live about 20 minutes away so are close by for help with just about anything.

it was okay

although the property was nice it could use some updating , backs on to a very busy street that is very noisy, so sleeping was difficult .they did allow our pet so that was a plus.

Hope to stay here again!

Fortunately we met the owners as we arrived at this home and they were lovely. This home is on the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Spacious, clean, lots of light and very comfortable. We had everything we needed to make and serve a meal. We enjoyed sitting on the front patio each morning sipping coffee, and reading the paper. Back patio is nice for afternoon sun. Saw 1-2 rabbits every morning in the back. Walked the surrounding neighborhoods each morning as well. This trip was just my sister and me, but we are hoping to come back and bring our husbands. I highly recommend this home if you are visiting Sun City or the surrounding area.

We had a great time. Sun City is the place to be. The house was just as described and really worked out for us. All the golfing, rec centers, swimming baseball etc that anyone could want. Thanks JR and Glenda. See you next year.

Great house and great owners

This is the 2nd year we have rented this house over a holiday and we have been happy with the house and the owners each time. No extra deposits or hidden fees and owners are extremely available and friendly and on the spot to fix anything that might go wrong. Easy access to property and shopping close to the hwy101 and market just across the nearby street. 2 separate bedroom suites make it great for 2 couples and a sofa bed sleeps 2 more if needed. Older home is well kept and priced reasonable. No worries staying at this home with these owners.
