Nice place as long as you aren’t expecting the Ritz
The condo was very nice and clean. The view from the balcony was gorgeous! All of the upgrades were well done and even received compliments from guests staying in other rooms. Overall, the whole complex was a little dated but the owner was actually in town during our visit and is clearly looking to make improvements. In many respects the inside of this unit doesn’t match the exterior of the complex given all the upgrades in the room. The only real negative we experienced was the amount of locals that used the pool. They were often loud, drank a lot, and brought their kids. If it wasn’t for the locals, the pool would have been peaceful.
We has an amazing time. We brought beach chairs plus beach stuff. Totally unnecessary. They had everything you need. The only complaint was the a/c was a little noisy. Other than that we loved our stay.
The place was very nice and clean. Highly recommend.
On the beach!
The good to great - The condo was on the beach as stated and that is what we were looking for. The location was central to the many places we enjoyed, John's Pass, shopping, restaurants. Some on the beach restaurant/bars. The bed was comfy, the condo had all the comforts of home. The pool was nice.
I would give the condo a good scrubbing down. We bought a beach umbrella and left it in the room, we also left a small cooler,. The chairs were adequate. The towels were adequate. The linens, sheets and comforter were ok. For a condo on the beach on Treasure Island, a really comfy chair and plush towels would make a huge difference and not cost the owner much money. A thorough cleaning would bring the condo from nice to high end. Cleaning of cabinets, wood work and bathroom would bring the place up a notch. If you are paying, or at least charging me $80 for the cleaning, you are not getting your monies worth.
For the bad - the air conditioner is noisy and musty smelling. Maybe a new filter would take care of the smell. We turned the air to low and it took care of the noise. The fan in the bathroom was very loud. We tried to put the bathroom light on for a night light but since it is attached to the fan, it was too loud. The room is really dark and there is not a night light making it difficult to navigate those nightly trips to the bathroom.
All in all, a great place to stay and for the price a very good deal! It was our first time to Treasure Island and we loved the location.
perfect for 2
clean, comfortable and great location
Great condo for 2 people
Great updated condo, quiet area of beach, view was perfect. Only thing I would suggest is for owners to replace mattress. Very soft and very uncomfortable other than that really enjoyed our weekend getaway. Ricky T's has some great bar food. Wings and pizza top notch and walking distance. Great stretch of beach if you don't want crowded.
