I was warned before arrival that the caretaker of the property was on vacation and that he would leave the key with security. However on the arrival there was no key, the owner tried and help as best he could, but didn't receive the key quntil a day and a half later. Caretaker was back, and I have never met a more arrogant person, all he did was laugh at the problem..
The owner paid for the extra room I had to rent, but it ruined the first 2 days of my stay. And I hope no one will ever meet Mr. Green, the so called caretaker....
Location was good, and lots of sightseeing close
The caretaker was on holiday when the guests arrived so instructions were left for him to pick up keys at the security gates as you enter the resort.
We received a call in the evening from the guests saying they had the followed the instructions and there were no keys. We asked them if they there were at the security gate and they confirmed so. Obviously, we were extremely concerned and so told them to book another apartment in the same resort and we would reimburse them.
The caretaker was coming the following afternoon and so we knew it would get sorted that day but to minimise any disruption to the guests, we asked them to book for a 2nd night and so they would not be in limbo due to the check out time.
We reimbursed them that morning for the 2 nights at the hotel.
Mr Green (the caretaker) arrived that afternoon and informed us that the keys had been at the security gate all the time as per his instructions. The guest had gone to the front reception and not the security gate.
The guest retrieved the keys and hence had actually 2 rooms for that night..
It was after this that we had complaints from Mr Green that the guest had asked him personally for financial compensation for the 2 nights. He quite rightly said that this was not his department and they should contact the owner. Obviously, this was strange since the guest had already received the payment from us.
A few days later when Mr Green and the cleaner came to change the sheets, the guest refused and said to Mr Green that if he did not have his money, he could **** off. Mr Green obliged future requests for extra towels on a few more occasions but in general tried to avoid the guest for the rest of the booking.
Since the key was there and the guest just had not followed the instructions given, there was no fault with Mr Green or us. Nevertheless, the guest was reimbursed immediately and he knew the money was being sent via Paypal as agreed on Email between the owner and him. There was no reason why the guest should be harassing Mr Green and swearing at him. We deem this unacceptable behaviour.
We and more importantly our guests, have always found Mr Green a very reasonable and hospitable person.
The condo is in a great location to get every where in Ochie. Condo has everything you need. The bedroom bed is very comfortable. It was very clean. Got to watch the cruise ships come and go. Only down side was that it rained the whole time I was there.

perfect location, the staff is very friendly. the room was very comfortable and the a.c. fantastic. the wifi was good, but you have to purchase a wifi card for it too work. you have easy access to everything in town, like taj mahal mall, margaritavilla, and the supermarket called champion. this property is also next to the pier and you will see the cruiseline come and go.
now i did enjoy, that right across the street there is a nite club that played good music and from the balcony i sat there enjoying the nite away with a good drink.
my family and i was very comfortable with the room and it had all the amenties for us to use. i will recommend this to others. and i will book again.

very nice room. air conditioning fantastic. the view to the pier and partial ocean view is good. very comfortable. everything is within walk-able distant, like margaritaville, the malls, and champion supermarket. the staff was very friendly and helpful. however the bar and restaurant was closed on the property, it never opened. for the wifi, you must purchase a wifi card to get service. wifi is very good, not slow. overall well recommended. i thank you mr yarde and i look forward to returning to the property, in the near future. thank JV and Family

The property was much bigger than it looks in the photos, well kept and exactly as advertised. Located right in the town, walking distance to all shops bars restaurants and the beach. I'll probably stay here again and have already recommended it to many other people.
This is a beach front property situated ont turtle Street in Ocho Rios, right in the heart of a bustling neighbourhood of local shops, a choice of restaurants, duty-free shops and the Craft Mart. With its private beach access that can only be used by the guests of these resorts or by those who purchase passes to use the beach. Nearby attractions such as the Dunns River Falls, Dolphin Cove, The Red Stripe Cruise, scenic gardens and working plantations makes it one of the top ten places to stay in Ocho Rios.
