About Christina Zacharia
I'm originally from Greece and have now lived in Amsterdam for three and a half years. I still love Amsterdam and traveling. Jordaan is my favorite neighbhorhood, it has the sense of living in the authentic picturesque Amsterdam you see in pictures without too many tourists.
Christina Zacharia purchased this Apartment in 2017
Why Christina Zacharia chose Amsterdam-Centrum
This apartment will give you the authentic feeling of being a local living in the Jordaan. All the important sights are a short walk away, but importantly you are surrounded by the local shops, markets, restaurants, and cafe's of the Jordaan. You could spend a weekend here and never have to wander farther than 100 meters away from the apartment!

This place was terrific, especially it's location. Be aware there are a couple of floors of steep stairs that need to be negotiated. But if you're OK with that, it's great. Christina was very good with communication leading up to arrival (she provided a fantastic customized Google Map to help with decision making) and Paini was a gracious checkin contact. We loved it.
This Suite is in the best location in Amsterdam and a shot 5 min walk to the Anne Frank experience
Perfect Nest in Amsterdam
We had a great stay in this gem of an apartment. It was well situated to transportation, comfortable, with great amenities. Christina was great to work with and sent lots of information to help navigate the city. Paini was super and very helpful with everything. If we are ever in Amsterdam again we would definitely try to stay here!
Perfect home base for our trip to Amsterdam
My husband, toddler and I stayed at Christina's place for a 5 day trip to Amsterdam and we could not have been more pleased. The location was fabulous, the apartment was the perfect mix of spacious and cozy, and we had some great tips from Christina to enjoy Amsterdam. The apt is up a couple flights of stairs but we live on the 3rd floor ourselves so are used to climbing. The living room is really large and it was nice to have a separate space besides the bedroom. There was also a door that sectioned off the kitchen/living room from the rest of the house which we found super helpful bc we could put our daughter down for a nap and still have a lot of space to enjoy ourselves. , There is a great patio off the bedroom and a separated shower and toilet (agin so practical). The kitchen seemed well stocked (we never ended up cooking just because we were out so much). Christina provided some fabulous recommendations and her house manager Paini left us wine and cookies and greeted us warmly upon welcome. Again could not say enough great things.
Nice Place, Great Location
Christina (owner) was very responsive to all questions, and her manager was very helpful and prompt in resolving any questions or issues, which made our stay even more comfortable. Clean, lots of light, close to a market, restaurants, nightlife, trams. Would stay there again if in Amsterdam.
Great place for our first trip to Amsterdam
Loved this apartment. Nice quiet back deck, and front view down onto Rozengracht street. Few minutes walk to the canals, Anne Frank House, etc. Would definitely stay again.
This is the famous Jordaan neighborhood in Amsterdam. I love it because it is the genuine Amsterdam. You can walk anywhere in the center within 15 minutes but also easily spend a weekend here without walking more than 150 meters with everything within a stone's throw. Trendy shops, bakeries, cafe's, and restaurants are peppered all around. The Anne Frank House is a short walk on the Prinsengracht.
In this neighborhood everything is pretty much within 10-15 minutes walking, so I would really recommend walking or renting a bicycle. There is a tram stop a two minute walk away (13 and 17) and also a bus stop. Getting to and from Schiphol Airport you take bus 197 (10 minute walk) which comes about 3 times an hour, costs 4 Euro, and takes about 35 minutes. If you prefer to get a ride, I recommend an Uber, it will cost about 23 Euro and take ~25 minutes. To and from Centraal Station you can take Tram 17 or 13 and takes about 11 minutes. If you are going to use the public transport I suggest you buy a 24 or 48 hour pass. Otherwise you will pay 2.70 Euro for a single 1-hour ride pass!
