About Charlotta Janssen
I'm a painter and restaurateur. I love creating decors to influence the environments around us. I am constantly struck by the contrast in my surroundings: there is never a boring day running restaurants and then I am thrust into the absolute solitude in my painting studio. I am a Berlin transplant, yet feel incredibly at home here in Brooklyn and I am always pleased to share that experience with my guests.
Charlotta Janssen purchased this Apartment in 2005
Why Charlotta Janssen chose Fort Greene
Coming from Europe I love old buildings and this sturdy brick structure dates from about 1897. The high ceilings, hardwood floors, and French doors with original baths exemplify an old world charm with modern day amenities: washer/dryer in one, large fridge, freezer, gas cooking stove, cable TV and wireless internet.
What makes this Apartment unique
Sometimes we need to find a place of refuge from the bustle of New York City and Fort Greene in Brooklyn offers a safe, spacious, and warm environment aglow with the rich multicultural vibe, which Manhattan once possessed. The neighborhood offers a wide range of cuisines from classic French to farm-to-table Nouveau American. BAM Academy is a short walk away and Manhattan is only one subway stop from Manhattan. If you are a traveling group of 4 to 6 and want your privacy together as well as the unique urban experience, this place is for you.
