Short drive to Interlochen for groceries, dining, shops, and Interlochen Center for the Arts. 1.5 miles to Boone's Long Lake restaurant and just a few miles to Moomer's famous ice cream shop.
Take a 30 minute drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and climb the dunes, follow the winery trails and art gallery trails, and visit small towns in Leelanau and Benzie counties.
Hiking, swimming, skiing, biking, golfing, charter fishing, kayaking, and canoeing are some popular outdoor activities in the area with its many lakes, beaches, and trails. You can even find a secluded spot on one of many Lake Michigan beaches!
