A FABULOUS week in a special place!!!

  • 5 of 5

It exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean, had everything we possibly would need to have a great time, everyone slept well and the view was wonderful. There were 7 of us from 72 to 7 years old and we all want to go back.

Summer get away with the Grandboys

  • 5 of 5

The property was exactly what we were looking for. The boys were able to kayak, paddle boat, and then fishing from the motor boat. The property was well maintained and provided all the comforts of home.

Great Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here over labor Day Weekend and it was just the quiet escape we needed from the city. The house is literally steps from the lake and has a large grassy area for games and lounging. Plenty of towels and kitchen goods, this place was everything we were looking for. I highly recommend staying here. Donna is very accessible to answer and questions or concerns.

A quaint, quiet, and comfortable lake-side home with many amenities, and a fantastic shaded patio.

  • 5 of 5

Overall the accommodations were very nice. A very comfortable home with many amenities. The water toys, including kayaks and paddle boat were used significantly. Dock was nice for mooring the boat we brought. The lake was very quiet and unused making it nice for water skiing. The shaded patio was fantastic, and we used that almost every meal. Nice grill and fire pit. Some very minor comments were:

1) Kitchen cupboards were so full of stuff (including many chipped cups), that there was no room for the foods we brought. Refrigerator did have ample space.

2) Batteries were dead in one remote.

3) Cloth outdoor cushions got wet the first night in the rain because they had been left out before we arrived. It took us several days to dry them out to then be usable.

4) Although the house was fully decorated, the house was fairly cluttered with nick knacks and other stuff with not a lot of room to put our belongings. Bedroom dresser drawers were empty and available. However, bathroom and kitchen drawers and cupboards were full.

We had a great time with our family, including our new grandson, and we are definitely considering a return visit.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your positive remarks. As a first time renter, you will find perfection hard to find. The cabinets in both the kitchen and bathroom are full of what most renters would find to be amenities. Items such as plates, silverware, pots, pans , soap , tooth brushes etc. Both battery failure and rain are unpredictable. The Sunbrella cushions would dry quickly if put into the deck boxes provided. My property has had many positive 5 star reviews by renters who appreciate its charm and conveniences.

Absolutely perfect

  • 5 of 5

This is the best vacation home we have ever been to. The house is beautiful and the outdoor patio is the best. We stayed three nights and wish we were staying longer. The lake is just feet from the door with gorgeous views out every window. The home is supplied with everything you need, right down to the last detail. I would highly recommend this property
