Needs some update and cleaning

  • 2 of 5

The house was in a great location, close to shops and restaurants. In general, at a quick glance, it looks fine. But, the place needs some updating, upkeep and a deep cleaning. The beds need the most attention. The mattresses were old, lumpy and generally uncomfortable. The master bed was a queen with a twin size comforter. Sharing the comforter at night was a constant tug-of-war. There are signs of hard water stains in almost every sink and tub. The ice maker didn't work, the humidifier didn't work, dish washer had to be closed so hard I thought it would push out the back wall,

If you don't mind these issues, everything else was ok. I didn't get a good nights sleep for 6 days, so I give it 2 stars.

A beautiful home, fully stocked and a great location.

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at Piney Acres couldn't have been better! Great location to the ski resorts, shopping and the drive back to the airport. It was a pleasure staying in Piper Tatum's full stocked and comfortable vacation home. The kitchen had everything you would have in your own home and the great room provided ample space to relax after a full day on the slopes. The bedrooms were wonderfully furnished and the beds comfortable! The bonus room (mud room) was perfect for storing skis, poles etc. This home is reasonably priced and a very good value and exceeded our expectations! Piper Tatum was great to work with and we will return to Piney Acres for our next Colorado ski vacation.

Very good

  • 4 of 5

We had a very nice time in Co. The place was perfect for our family. A good place to stretch out after skiing. It was equipped with all the creature comforts of being at home. It was as advertised. My only draw back was the driveway. The house sits on a 25% grade and the road was packed snow which just about the same as driving on ice. My rented van could not make the hill. Only about 75' from the corner. I also had trouble getting out of the drive. I had to park hugging the road and then take another route to get out. But we adjusted and it all was fine. An all wheel drive would have worked. By daughters front wheel drive car work just fine also. But not a major concern. I would stay there again.

Piney Acres Is The Place To Be

  • 5 of 5

Nice view and location. We had a GREAT two months there. Nice upgrades: new washer and dryer and patio furniture. Summit County is delightful location for hiking, biking, theater, farmer's markets, weekend concerts and sailing.
