Perfect, Peaceful Beach Home to Unwind
Located in a quiet gated community and on a private lot, “Porte Maillot” was everything you could want in a beach vacation house. The home is beautifully and brightly decorated, with spacious living areas making it easy to settle in comfortably. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, all with serene views and sufficiently spaced apart - perfect for a family vacation. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy for nice meals; one of my favorite times was dining ‘al fresco’ on the protective mesh-covered back porch area, listening to the quiet hums and chirps. One morning, we watched deer grazing as we ate breakfast at the kitchen table, and another time, a flock of white birds were meeting in the creek - a beautiful sight among the moss-covered trees! Large upstairs and downstairs porches were such a treat, with not only lovely views in the day, but great for star gazing in very dark nights (no obtrusive lights around!). WIFI was excellent when we had to work. The beach is just a nice stroll away, and is miles of pristine white sands. Miles of beach to the south is next to a protected reserve, so no houses (and often, no people!). On the other hand, the community Beach Club has a nice deck for dining overlooking the beach, and a large pool area. The home and the area made for such a relaxing environment, I can’t wait to stay again!
