About Jim Rose

We purchased this beautiful cabin in the blue lake springs homeowner association in 1968 long before all the big fancy cabin were built. Before our seven grand kids were growing. It has been wonderful to watch all of our kids, grand kids and now great grand kids enjoy the cabin over the years. We still spent many family summers at the cabin. My grandchildren have very fond memerios of the cabin when all seven cousins would sleep out on the deck during the summer months under the stars because then wanted to not because the cabin didnt have room back then the kids room had more then the 4 beds it does now. We enjoyed taking walks down to flying acres lake and watching the kids and and now grand kids swim and fish. The cabin so far seen three generations of children grow up and will stay in the family line for generations to come. New pics. to come. New floor thought out summer 2015, new living room furniture summer 2015 . There is a fee for opening, closing and, cleaning.

Horrible management!

  • 1 of 5

Prior to reserving the cabin we were told to bring our own sheets. Upon arrival sheets were on the beds. After taking the sheets off, petting ours on, and then again putting their sheets back on I was charged for leaving unmade beds. 12 days after returning home I had not yet received my deposit. The mgmt required me to pay for the stop pmt in their check. I will be sure to never rent a cabin that uses mountain properties again.

Great cabin!

  • 5 of 5

I booked this cabin for a family get together. It was very clean and had very comfy beds. It had all the things we needed for a comfortable stay. I especially liked the large deck and that we were able to bring our dog. The location was great with no houses really close so it felt really private. Having a bunk room for the grandkids was perfect! The management staff were very quick to respond to questions about the property and to return my deposit after my stay. Loved it!
