Would definitely stay here again! Last evening on the beach was a bright double rainbow and a magnificent sunset.
My two teenagers and I had a great time. The accommodations and location were excellent. Very comfortable house with everything we needed. Communications with the owner were also great. Second year staying on this property (last year was the house in the back). We look forward to returning next year.

We stayed in the upper unit. Owners realize it needs to be updated and apparently plan on doing so. Loved the location! We already re-booked for next year......

0 stars is my rating! After reading the other reviews, my wife and I decided we would give this place a shot. We were looking for a nice place to take our two young children, ages 3 and 5. The owner said that we would be contacted 48 hours in advance to give us instructions on entering the property. 48 hours came and went and we still had no instructions. 20 hours before arrival, I attempted to contact the owner via phone and email with no answer or immediate response. We were going to bed and would be traveling to the airport early in the morning and I was hoping to have some instruction from the owner. He later emailed me with the instructions. This was the first of a handful of poor communication instances from the property owner.
Upon arriving, I noticed the pictures of the porch did not match what was in the listing. In the listing, there was a nice glass table, a wicker settee, some nice decorations.A bulky leather love seat and a couple of single chairs were what was there. I also immediately noticed a metal electrical outlet box that was partially hanging out of the wall. This was not acceptable to me since I know that if not properly grounded, metal electrical boxes can conduct electricity and I was not about to have my children's curious fingers find there way to this. Worst of all, upon walking into the bathroom where we found paint missing from the walls and grossly stained tiles, I found black mold in the tub area. It was completely unacceptable. After a long day of traveling, there was no way I could bathe my children in that tub, especially since I have a daughter who is greatly affected by mold. I had seen enough and within an hour, I found our family a new, clean place to rent.
Since telling the owner of my experience and requesting a refund, he told me that the electrical box was "only popping out of the wall an inch." He also said that his previous renters left early and how was he supposed to know how someone was cleaning the bathroom after a 5 week rental. He said he would have moved us out to work on it. We were there for only a couple days. I did not rent a place to stay in a construction zone. Why would a property owner not check on his property after someone had rented it for 5 weeks??! If he simply went to his property to check, he would have seen the condition. This owner does not care about the property and it's clear that it is only a way to make money. He did not refund us. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY!
I have been renting properties for over 10 years and I have never had a renter behave in such an irrational manner.
Usually when someone has any issues with any of my properties they will contact me and I will take care of it with the full satisfaction of the renter. In this instance, the renter did not make me aware of any problem, left the property and booked something else not giving me an opportunity to resolve the matter. Then notifying me late that night expecting a full refund. I had an upgraded unit ready for them to move into with minimum disruption to him and his family and all this talk of construction work is just ridiculous, all we had to do was replace some caulk and secure a junction box. I would have moved the renters and kept them in the upgraded unit for the duration of their stay and if they were still not happy I would have refunded his rental in full.
I am truly sorry that they a bad experience and given the opportunity I would have resolved their problem. In this instance a lot of his problems were self-inflicted.
