We are ideally situated on the Cornwall/Devon border which has been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty. With many wonderful tourist attractions near the park, you can rest assured that you will never be at a loss for things to do. Within a short distance from the lodge is the famous pannier market town of Tavistock and bustling city of Plymouth. No visit to Cornwall is complete without taking a trip to The Eden Project or The Lost Gardens of Heligan. Why not venture to the north or south coasts to explore their diverse coastlines and attractive towns? Or perhaps you would prefer to walk or cycle and take in the breathtaking scenery? From sports activities and tourist attractions to site seeing, there's something here for everyone. Loxley Lodge is a good base to stay when visiting cadets at the Torpoint / Plymouth Navel academy.

About Robin and Dee Fry
Devon and Cornwall has always been a favourite holiday destination for us and so in 2009 we decided to buy our own little piece of it. Since we have done so we have visited the area regularly and are always amazed at how many new places we discover. Being so near to the border with Devon we have the best of both worlds while being situated in one of the most unspoilt areas of Cornwall. We have been taking cottage holidays for the past 20 years and have often found things missing, we have attempted to add those things into our holiday home for our own enjoyment and that of our guests. We hope that you will enjoy our little piece of Cornwall as much as we do.
Robin and Dee Fry purchased this House in 2009
Why Robin and Dee Fry chose Saint Ann's Chapel
Loxley is a lovely property which is very adaptable for most needs. With a bathroom/shower room on each floor it is a perfect property for large families and 2 families travelling together. Similarly, it can be an intimate location for couples to enjoy all that the Tamar Valley has to offer. It is very well equipped for most needs and is handy for travel in all directions. If you have never stayed in the Tamar Valley now is the time to visit.
What makes this House unique
We love visiting our little part of Cornwall as It is adaptable with spectacular views over the valley towards Dartmoor. There is something here for everyone. This is Poldark country - we have a rich tin mining heritage in the area, with a chance to visit and experience mining up close. We allow dogs at no extra charge (must have had their jabs/flea treatments please). Enjoy a glass of wine while sitting on the sun deck enjoying the spectacular views. *** Loxley Lodge is only 25 minutes drive from Torpoint - so if you are looking for a place to stay while visitng your relatives at the Royal Naval bases of HMS Raleigh or HMS Vivid - this is the perfect choice. Also suitable for HMS Drake via the bridge / ferry. *** We are part of a group of similar lodges so if you are travelling to the area with a large group - we will be very happy to arrange all the accommodation for you.

Cosy, comfortable and central
Great location just not Cornwall. Tucked away in a corner of the site Loxley gives a peaceful view from its garden. It's cosy but modern with everything you need for a comfortable holiday.
All the info you need from where it's good to eat to the best beaches to go to is there. It's clean, beds are comfortable and has a tardis like spaciousness. You don't need anything more....other than to look foward to a return visit to Loxley Lodge.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our holiday home. We were so pleased to read that you enjoy it as much as we do. Looking forward to welcoming you back next year.
Cosy, warm and comfortable
We enjoyed our stay in Loxley Lodge. The property was well equipped - plenty of crockery etc. Perhaps a little more storage space in the kitchen for food/drinks but we managed perfectly fine. Plenty of seating and a great patio area for warmer times. Loxley Lodge has one of the best positions on the Holiday complex.
Overall excellent and would probably stay again in the future.
Hi, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, we were so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that you would like to come back in the future. We do indeed have a very enviable position, the views never cease to take our breath away. Look forward to hearing from you again. Best regards Dee and Robin
Our Stay at Loxley Lodge
Very comfortable well equipped house which generally suited our needs. We would not normally have booked on a holiday park like this but it was fine. If there were any issues, finding a place to walk to and walk the dogs was difficult for my elderly parents. Also, too many nice ornaments within reach of our young children. Overall, a lovely stay, thanks.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review our holiday home, we are so pleased that you have enjoyed your stay with us, and it was nice that you gave this area a chance. I was interested to read your comments about dog walking as there are so many lovely walks nearby with amazing views across the valley, one of which is just behind the lodge. The area in general is very dog friendly, however, i do appreciate that your parents were elderly so this may have been an issue with it being in a valley ? We hope that they were comfortable in the ground floor bedrooms however. i was also happy to read that you liked the ornaments and the additional personal touches that we have put into Loxley, most of them child proof but some of them were bought for their looks rather than their practicality so thank you for ensuring none were broken. We hope to welcome you back again in the future. Best wishes Dee & Robin
Fantastic Loxley Lodge
Fantastic place to stay, everything you need has been thought of, even a nice welcome pack even included something for the dog. Loads of information leaflets so we could plan what we would like to see, even with that the owners gave us some great ideas. Will be going again.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, we are so pleased to read that you had a good time. There is so much to see in Cornwall - we are still finding places to explore each time we go. We hope to welcome you back again in the future.
There were six of us who stayed in this lodge and we all would definately return. Plenty of room for six adults, very nicely decorated throughout. Two good size double bedrooms, one very large twin room and even kids room. We were surprised on arrival when we found a lovely basket full of goodies and to get our food tesco was only 5 minutes up the road. We visited Looe, Polperro, Tavistock, Tintagel an finally Sibleyback Lake where we had great fun Canoeing and Kayaking. Finally we would like to thank you for such great facilities we will definately be returning.

Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review, it is always nice to know we have done something right and that people have had a good time in our little piece of Cornwall. Loxley is very much our little gem and we hope that the extra touches we have added make the stay all the more enjoyable. We hope that we will be welcoming you again in the future.

Ideal base for a Cornwall, Devon and Dartmoor holiday. Lovely accomodation. We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. Dee was very helpful and we even had an easter Egg waiting for us on our arrival! We would certainly stay again and recommend to our friends. Thanks
