What a wonderful location! Having a large family it was perfect blend of cozy yet spacious!
This cabin is absolutely beautiful! Our family of 7 was taken back by the gorgeous woodwork of this cabin! Everyone had plenty of space, yet it was cozy enough that quality family time was spent every night! This cabin was a perfect distance from all the great things to do near the Black hills! We were able to do so many things that we would not have been able to do if we had to get two hotel rooms each night and always eat out. I am so glad that we were able to find this property and the owners were willing to share! I would recommend this cabin to anyone planning on visiting all the great things South Dakota has to offer!!
Thank you so much for the great review, we work very hard to insure our properties give our guests an excellent lodging experience. Your feed back is very inmportant to us.
Wonderful view, lovely log cabin!
Beautiful log cabin in Hot Springs but out of the way so their are no neighbors right beside you. It is next to a trail & stream. Deer came through the front yard every night. Loved the huge tub! Refrigerator stopped working and Patrick came right away to check it for us! Some how huge bumble bees are getting in to the cabin. We found 3 when we arrived in the living room & bedroom. Then we found a few more in those areas during our weeks stay so we had to be careful and watch where we stepped because they would be on the floor walking around and they were huge!! Not sure how they were getting in but other than that we had a wonderful stay and would be more than glad to stay there again. :)
Hot Springs charm!
What a nice place to live out of for the few days we were in the Black Hills. My only draw back is the open ceilings across the cabin from a noise perspective. The use of the washer/dryer made it simple to pack lighter and do a "Little Laundry" when we were there! A nice place to stay for a family!
Very comfortable home and a nice place from which to explore the Black Hills
Cozy, comfortable home and enjoyed our stay. One unique aspect is the sleeping areas are not private as there is no ceiling...just open space.
Perfect location of in town but secluded from other properties and on edge of park/river
Great little cabin! Stayed with 3 adults and 9 kids on a Girl Scout trip was able to pitch a few tents to accommodate everyone. Bathroom would be fine for a small familybutnoir troop went to close by Evans plunge nightly and showered there. Perfect place
Great Cabin in Convenient Location
The cabin was very charming and clean. It feels like you’re tucked away from the rest of town, but you are conveniently located in town. It’s spacious & great for a couple or small family, and has a washer/dryer. The only negative was that the dishes & pots and pans were old & worn out. Otherwise it was wonderful!
Located along banks of Fall River in Historic Hot Springs, Freedom Trail is right out your front door. Great access to sandstone district. Perfect headquarters for touring Black Hills attractions, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Wind Cave Nat'l Park, Mammoth Site, Wild Horse Sanctuary, Evans Plunge and more!
A short walk on The Freedom Trail will take you to The Cost of Freedom Tribute! August 1 - 4, 2013, Proudly on display a replica of The Vietnam Wall along with the Quilt of Tears to honor, respect, and remember men and women who served, and to pay specific tribute to those who gave all in that service.
