This beautifully maintained Mid-island Condo is Right on the beach. Featuring a very large, fully furnished condominium (1200 square feet) with huge deck looking right at the Gulf of Mexico! Completely remodeled kitchen from top to bottom (see pictures!). Remodeled both bathrooms featuring tile walk-in shower in Master suite, private tennis court outside your door. Laundry rooms on premises.

My condo is Ideal for families and friends. Master suite includes king-size bed with private full bath. Guest bedroom with two double beds, and another full-size newly remodeled bathroom. Living room has a Sofa and Love Seat with fold out bed.(full size). All rooms have Flat Screen TVs with cable and DVD player.

Suntide II Condominiums is a quiet, peaceful and beautifully maintained Condo located right on the beach. My 3rd floor location overlooks the pool, spa and of course the beach. Our large deck has a fantastic view of the ocean and comfortable furniture for you to sit back and relax on!

ABOUT MY CONDO - MY 2BR/2BA condo is ideal for that very special family beach vacation! Perfect for small families or for 2 couples vacationing together. (Will hold 6 comfortably.)

Of course if you are a couple looking for a romantic setting on the beach our condo is also perfect for you. I treat my condo like a second home so you will find it to be remodeled, beautiful, spacious, comfortable and clean. I have been going to SPI for years and pride myself in keeping my condo in 2nd home shape!

ABOUT SUNTIDE II: The complex is a Casual 5 story building. There is a large Hot Tub, Swimming Pool, Sun Deck, Tennis Court, and Barbecue area with grills available at no charge. The complex has all the amenities of home with coin operated wash machines and dryers. Most important there is a staffed office on the property. Just go downstairs for friendly help, free towel exchange, or just directions to a good restaurant. All in all you can just leave your troubles behind and enjoy your stay.

Here is a list of our special amenities to help make your stay more enjoyable:

1. FREE Wireless WI-FI.

2. Keyless entry (no keys to carry to and from the beach).

3. Comfortable deck furniture with cushions.

4. Beach Chairs and Accessories are available on the beach.

This condominium is our well-loved second home and maintained with care. I vacationed for many years on South Padre Island and finally bought a condo at Suntide II in 2000. Originally I was just buying for personal use of myself, friends and family. However, I was living in Dallas at the time and was only able to visit several times a year. I decided to share my condo with others through the rental pool at Suntide II. I still visit SPI several times a year and can't wait to get down again!

I've stayed at many different condos on SPI and found Suntide II to have a unique combination of a small complex with big complex amenities. It's also a lot closer to the beach. :)

Great condo, very nice owner

Joe was very nice when we spoke on the phone before our rental. He was able to tell us about the condo unit, the neighborhood, and give suggestions for things to do and see in South Padre. The unit was very nice with a large balcony that looks right over the ocean. We loved sitting out there and watching the sunrise and sunset--although we were disappointed none of the windows opened to let the breeze in. The kitchen was nice and semi-stocked with needed utensils and dishes. There were NO condiments or spices (salt or pepper) though, so you will need to bring everything if you intend to cook. The bedrooms were clean and spacious, and it was nice to have 2 separate bathrooms.

My major criticism of the whole experience is that the linens in the condo (probably provided by the management company) are terrible quality. The sheets are thin and flimsy, barely covering the mattress. The towels were small and scratchy, like sandpaper. A little attention on the linens in the unit could make the whole experience much more luxurious. Instead, it felt like a cheap motel's linens. The management company was very rigid in their service. For example, towel exchange is only from 9-11am on the first floor (meaning you have to walk your towels down there and trade them out), and if you arrive at 11:05, don't expect to get any fresh towels--they were so strict!

Overall, Joe was very nice and his condo is pretty. I might consider staying again, but I would bring my own towels, possibly even sheets.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the nice review of my Condo. It truly is my home away from home and I use during the year when I visit the island. I try my best to keep it up to date and fully stocked with all the necessities. As far as the linens & towels; those are provided by the management and I'll forward your email to them. I thought they were using very nice linens & towels when I was there last time; so I'm not sure if something has changed. Thanks again Joe

Super close to the beach

This is a clean, perfectly maintained condo right on the beach. It is walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants, and shops. Grills are available on the property to cook your gulf shrimp. The view from the condo is perfect. We had a wonderful vacation and hope to return.

Clean, bright, spacious condo with very nice decor and amazing views! My family enjoyed one of our most relaxing vacations and would highly recommend this condo. Several restaurants and clubs in walking distance. Wish we could have stayed longer - we would definitely like to rent this one again!
