A fine place to stay in Kuopio

I chose this hotel because of it being very near the train station and just a few blocks walk from the tori (outdoor marketplace). Nice shower, pillows, beds, breakfast buffet, lobby. There is also an opportunity to borrow bikes to explore the city.

Great and comfortable location

The hotel itself has an average appearance with small rooms. Bathrooms had shampoo whoch was really convenient. Breakfast was also average, nothing really special and might even seem of worse quality but I believe it depends on the person. The staff was friendly. The best part is definitely the hotel's location. The railway station is just a few minutes walkaway. The centre with the main facilities is also near and everything's easily accessable. Great for people who want to spend a few days here, was good for me at least.

It was OK

This hotel was ok. Housekeeping was subpar - they barely made the bed even when the sheets came off the bed. No effort to clean the room. The single room was tiny and I was by the street - the street crossing beeping kept me up until it stopped around midnight. There are better hotels in the area (atlas, scandic) I wouldn't stay here again.
