Why Carol and Barry Relinger chose Georgetown
First and foremost, the wonderful people of Georgetown, South Carolina who have made my wife and I welcome from our first day in the area. Belle Isle Villas and Yacht Club is one of the most beautiful communities in the South Carolina Low Country. Battery White, a National Historic Site, is located on the property. There are about fifteen 200 year old live oaks that are on the Natural Historic Registry. I suggest that you read the reviews posted by guests who have stayed with us in the past.

The townhouse was well maintained and in a great location for our event at the Belle Isle Yacht Club
We enjoyed the community and the townhouse. Very grateful for a comfortable stay with our family for our son's wedding. Our residence was quiet and well maintained.
Carol and I are pleased that the unit met your requirements for the time you spent in Georgetown and Belle Isle for your sons wedding. Best wishes to the newlyweds.
Relaxing Vacation Spot
Barry and Carol were great hosts for our first visit to Georgetown, S.C. They answered our questions before we arrived and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat. We arrived to find a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. Barry gave us a tour of the townhouse. It had everything you need for a vacation home or a fulltime home. Barry had a notebook with all of the necessary details but he talked us through everything too. There are many amenities included with the rental.
My wife and I took Barry's advice and sat outside on the balcony at the Clubhouse, drank wine and beer, and enjoyed the view of Winyah Bay. We took many walks through the beautiful community admiring the blooming azaleas. Barry advised us to go to the oceanfront clubhouse at Pawleys Island, so we went there on the warmest day. That was a lot of fun. We spent another day at Hunting Beach State Park and had a great time there too.
One of the BEST
One of the best places we have ever stayed! Completely equipped with anything and everything you could possibly need. Barry & carol were very attentive and asked several times if we had everything and if we needed anything. Lost cable/internet, it was fixed within 3 hours! They accepted a Fedex package at their home nearby and brought it to our door. Great owners, great place to stay. Grounds were beautiful with mature trees and azaleas, lots of places to walk, near the bay and lakes.
Thank you for the great Five Star review. Carol and I are always gratified when our unit exceeds the guests expectations. We look forward to welcoming them back again on some future date.
Enjoyable stay. Everything needed was provided and then some.
Very pleasant quarters. The grounds are a lovely place to walk. Quiet. Carol and Barry were more than accommodating with any questions or needed items including finding extra carpet for our neurotic dog who is afraid of stairs and wood and tile floors.
The city is quiet but the history is interesting. The Rice Museum, old homes and Riverwalk are great takes. Also Center for Birds of Prey in Awandaw is a must see. Charleston and Myrtle Beach are close enough to get all the excitement you need.
Thanks very much for taking the time to leave a Five Star Review following your stay at Belle Isle Villas. Carol and I are pleased that you found the unit and surroundings met or exceeded your expectations.
Just What We Wanted!
The Belle Isle condo was just what we wanted for a post Christmas (2017) family get together. It is very clean, the rooms are good sized -- the bedrooms are quite large (each with a tv) and the kitchen is very well equipped. I've never seen so many good kitchen knives in a rental property. All the kitchen major appliances appear to be new. The Wi-Fi is excellent -- important to everyone, but particularly two teenage grandaughters. Barry and Carol were very helpful and accommodating. Because we were arriving right after Christmas, Carol asked if we would like her to put up some holiday decorations! Belle Isle is a lovely, quiet neighborhood by Winyah Bay perfect for walking and bike riding. Georgetown is 10 minutes away. A bonus to this rental is the private beach access available in Pawleys Island. It was too cold for us to take advantage of, but we took a quick look for a future visit. Recommended for getting away from it all!
Thank you for the Five Star Review. We are always pleased that our guests found that the accommodations met or exceeded all their expectations. We look forward to having you as our guests in the future.
Great condo very clean and nice.
Barry is a great and caring Landlord. One of the best places to stay in Belle Isle
We're pleased that the guest found us helpful and enjoyed their stay.
Hobcaw Barony, the Bernard Baruch Plantation is located about 7 miles north on US 17. The magnificent Brookgreen Gardens is located a short distance further north on US 17. The charming city of Charleston is about an hour drive south. The H. L. Hunley, the first true submersible to sink an enemy warship is located in North Charleston. Fort Sumter, site of the first shots fired in the 'War Between the States' (also know as the 'Civil War' to those of you from the North) is accessible by tour boat located at Patriot's Point in Mt. Pleasant. This is also the site of the WWII carrier USS Yorktown CV-10 (with the Medal of Honor Museum), the WWII destroyer USS Laffey DD-724 (know as 'The ship that would not die'), the USS Clamagore SS-343 (A 'Cold War' era Guppy II submarine) and a replica of a Vietnam era fire base.
