It was great to be on the creek.

  • 4 of 5

The house was very nice and clean. It was located just the right distance from Bryson city and not too far from other places like Cherokee and Maggie Valley. I would recommend staying there to others.

Very cozy house. The location is excellent.

  • 4 of 5

This home is in an excellent location. It is cozy and a great home base for seeing all the sights in the Smoky Mountains. Bryson City has lots of shops, several restaurants and a brewery all within 5 minutes from the cabin. The river is so close and relaxing. There is a fire pit perfect for making Smores. Overall, a great place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to visiting again.

Cabin and creek

  • 5 of 5

We could have walked if we wanted to from our cabin to the train station. We did a wine and dinner train ride. Walking out the back door to a beautiful creek and fire pit was amazing. Our dog had a blast, too!

Great location!

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed in several cabins in the deep creek area but being on the water in this cabin was by far my best experience yet. The cabin is just the right size for a small family which we are and we had plenty of room when we had family over for dinner also. There is a small stream that comes into deep creek on the north side of the property and is slightly warmer than the creek so if you have young one that don't like the cold water this will suite them just fine. My wife was able to trout fish just up stream of us and caught a few good ones all while my son and I played in the creek. If you want to be right on the water in a very quiet setting, THIS is the place to stay!

Private residential setting within five minutes of town

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I have been coming to this area for years but since we were bringing two young teenage boys, we thought they would enjoy this Bryson Patch cabin on Deep Creek...and did they! They practically lived in it! They swam and fished right in front of the cabin and tubed all the way into Bryson City - took about 1 1/2 hours starting at the edge of the Smoky Mountain National Park just up the road. My husband and I enjoyed the rocking chairs on the back porch - we even saw beavers swimming up and down the creek! The pictures don't show the nice shady front yard and the shade trees in the back. This listing has a shelter and hookups that will accommodate a motor home. Bryson City has all the amenities needed but still keeps the small town feel. I gave this four stars instead of five simply because it doesn't have but one bath for this cabin that can sleep six; however, I knew this when I reserved it. For a couple with small children, one bath would be no problem. The cabin is just a few years old and appears to be in very good condition. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed, and there is a grill on the back porch. The firepit was enjoyed in the evening along with the roasted marshmallows. This is a great place for couples and families. The creek flowing by seems to refresh and soothe the soul. The area around Bryson City offers horseback riding, rafting, zip lining, hiking and anything else that nature offers; and of course, the Smoky Mountain Railroad. This was definitely a "do-over" stay.
