About Owner/Property Manager

I picked the Nansenhus because I wanted the convenience of being ski in and ski out and being able to walk to the beach in the summer. This ultra convenient location is fabulous. When the kids were small they dressed inside and skied from the door. It also meant we could come back for a forgotten item easily and quickly. It also meant that we did not have to coordinate schedules and rides to and from the mountain. In both the summer and winter the kids could play outside and we could watch them from the windows. We could easily walk to the beach. As the kids got older they were free to go out on their own without being chauffeured around. As the village is right next door all the amenities are there including the pool, restaurants, movie theaters and shopping. We are next to everything but not on top of it so it is much quieter than in the village itself.

Why Owner/Property Manager chose Mont Tremblant

As this unit is rented by me the owner I am available to ensure that the unit is in good condition and clean for every visit. I have also tried to put in place features like free WiFi which are very necessary to most people these days. I have upgraded the basic satellite service to include more English language stations than those offered in other units. There may be other units on the resort that offer ski in/out but they often require a shuttle bus to get home or are in the heart of the pedestrian village and therefore noisy. My unit is located where nothing is more than a couple of minutes walk away but not over top some bar or restaurant.

What makes this chalet unique

This home is in the Domaine Nansen and was the first residential area created back in the '70s. As a result the development is far less dense than the projects that have been built later. Consequently you have the feeling of being closer to nature with the mountain and hiking trails that start from the door than the developments in the newer parts of the resort.

Ironman House

Spent a week at this beautiful home right outside the village, and loved it. The beds were amazing! Bit of an uphill hike walking to it, but the walk into town was a quick 10 minute trip along a beautiful trail thru the woods alongside a creek. The location was ideal for the Ironman, especially considering how many families with children were staying in the village--friends tell us the lodging there was not quiet, and the village events at night kept them awake. And the village restaurants are not that great (although there are a few good ones), so the excellent kitchen in this house came in very handy. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful, and even helped us find a wedding ring that was left behind. Looking for an Ironman home? Look no further!

Wonderful loft Condo within walking distance of Panache/Nansen Bas trails

4 adults and 5 children were comfortably accomodated in this bright, clean and well-maintained mountainside condo. Ski-in was quite easy -- about a 3 minute walk from the Panache trail. Ski-out was also about a 3 minute walk, but required a bit of dexterity skiing gently downhill through woodlands to the Nansen Bas trail. The condo is about a 15 to 20 minute walk from the main Mont Tremblant village. The condo's kitchen contained everything you need for cooking and eating. There were two large-screen TVs with cable and Netflix streaming provided. Outdoor hot tub. Owner was very responsive -- by email or phone. Bring hot hands and facemasks if you're skiing in February. It can get very cold.

Great ski-in/ski-out option

We loved the week we spent at this condo. We had two families, four adults and five kids total. The condo was spacious enough for all of us. It was great to have the upstairs den so the kids could watch TV without disturbing the adults' conversation. There was good access to the ski trails, and we loved being able to come home for lunch every day. The kitchen was well outfitted, with double sets of dishes and utensils. The décor was rustic and interesting. The kids hit the hot tub every day, despite the temperatures being close to zero. If we make the trek to Tremblant again, we will definitely stay here.

Amazing Accommodation

We were 8 Yoginis attending the 'Wanderlust Festival' in August 2014 and were blown away by this beautiful and well appointed Condo. Plenty of space, dishes, cutlery, utensils, privacy, comfort and very clean! We all enjoyed the 'hot tub' after our yoga classes and the seating for 10 provided wonderful opportunity for shared meals. We cannot say enough about this fabulous condo at Mount Tremblant!!! We loved our time together in this community made even more amazing because of this fabulous Condo. Already planning a return. ((:

Just what we needed!

The place was just what we needed. We were two families each of us with two kids and the home worked well for us. There was enough room for everyone and the kids even had space to run around! The main floor feels very warm and comfortable especially with a fire burning in the fireplace. Kitchen is very functional and a nice big bench style dining table allowed all of us to eat together. It is ski in/ski out which we also liked but it did have a short walk to the ski trail where you could throw on your ski's. The hot tub was also great. The owner, Stephen, was also very responsive to every request and question we had. Overall, would certainly recommend this place!

Excellent stay

I recently stayed for two weeks, durring Christmas and New Years. Had a great time and the location was perfect. Having the ablility to ski right back to the unit for lunch was great. The hot tub after a long day of riding made every night relaxing. I definitely recommend staying here. I'm already planing a trip back in March.
