About Jim

We graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1982, moved to various locations for College and Career, and have made Sandpoint our future retirement destination.

Jim purchased this condo in 2011

Why Jim chose Idaho

World class hiking, biking, snow sports, water sports, equine sports, dining, music or quiet moments just watching the moon or sunrise while listening to the waves lap the shore or a lonesome train whistle across the water.

What makes this condo unique

Seasons has the best of both worlds; An urban lifestyle nestled within a vast wilderness... The best view North Idaho has to offer, all just a short stroll from downtown shopping, world class dining, and classic dive bars. A friendly, diverse, and vivacious community that welcomes you.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Wonderful week here in Sandpoint. We couldn't get the kids out of the pool and lake! The condo is beautiful and so perfect for our family. Sunsets and beautiful moonrise from the patio each night was the highlight of each day. Never wanted to leave this beautiful place. Thank you for sharing your piece of heaven on the lake, we will be calling you next year to experience it all over again.

Sandpoint lies on the shores of Idaho's largest lake, 43-mile-long Lake Pend Oreille, and is surrounded by three major mountain ranges, the Selkirk, Cabinet and Bitterroot ranges. It is home to Schweitzer Mountain Resort, Idaho's largest ski resort, and is on the International Selkirk Loop and two National Scenic Byways (Wild Horse Trail and Pend Oreille Scenic Byway). Among other distinctions awarded by national media in the past decade, in 2011 Sandpoint was named the nation's 'Most Beautiful Small Town' by Rand McNally and USA Today.

Great Place!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had never been to Sandpoint ID before so we really didn't know the area or a place to stay. I went to VRBO and saw this particular unit and decided to go for it. On arrival we were wowed with the area and the condo. The condo was extremely clean, very well decorated and so comfortable. I loved sitting in front of the window looking out over the lake and mountains. The master bedroom faces the sun rising in the morning and we had exceptional sunrises. Had we known how awesome this place was we would have planned a longer stay. As a result of our experience we are planning on returning in the summer to bring our kids, and grandkids. Thanks so much!

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to write a review! So glad you enjoyed your visit and will be bringing the whole family to stay with us again next summer. Sandpoint is a great little town that remains much the same as I remember it growing up there in the 70's.

Wonderful place in a great location

  • 5 of 5

Wow! The condo is a first class accommodation in a great location. The owner's description as a "Luxury .....Condo" is totally correct. Wonderful kitchen that was well equipped for breakfasts and our Christmas dinner.

The complex's facilities were outstanding and the heated pool and hot tub made for some great winter swimming and soaking.

The management of the complex are very nice and made arrangements for use to get the key to the unit even though we arrived very late (or early) in the morning since we brought Amtrak from the east to Sandpoint.

Even though we rented a car and used the very nice garage, you would not need a car since everything in town is just a short walk.

Outstanding accomodations with superb view!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed here last March and we found this place to be nothing short of astounding. From the beautiful accomodations to the breathtaking views from the back balcony, we could not have been more pleased. A stone's throw to the water's edge, within walking distance to shopping and restaurants, this place has it all.
