Our Lake Tahoe mountain cabin located in the beautiful West shore of Lake Tahoe in popular Meeks Bay has spectacular Views... 180 degree views of Lake Tahoe, Meeks Bay and Desolation Wilderness. Relax on the deck with the beautiful snow capped mountains and the glimmering blue and green waters of the west shore.

WALK TO MEEKS BAY and the shores of Lake Tahoe. It is in close proximity to ski areas: Homewood, Alpine, Squaw Valley, Heavenly, etc. Snow play for kids up the street and/or sledding at Granlibakken. Situated between the well known State Parks - Emerald Bay and Sugar Pine Point. Hiking, Bike trails, tennis, swimming, boating all nearby.

FOUR BEDROOMS (two upstairs, two down) with a kitchen and living area. Pine lodgepole beds and tables furnish the home making it a true mountain experience. Spiral winding stairs to the downstairs.

Nice but poorly maintained cabin

This is a nice home at a decent location. The layout is nice in that allows the entire group to hangout in one place. However, the home is poorly maintained. The cleanliness of the kitchen left a lot to be desired. We found items in there that had expired 5 years ago. The hand soap container was empty in one of the bathrooms, and there was no soap or shower gel to be found anywhere.

West shore paradise

We loved our stay. The view from the deck was outstanding. Very quiet neighborhood close to Meeks Bay and Sugar Pine Point. Close to hiking trails. We hope to come back !

Family Trip to Lake Tahoe

We had a fabulous time at Lake Tahoe exploring so many amazing hikes and beautiful sunset spots!! Dog & Bear restaurant and Lakeview Social were great finds for food. We were a little disappointed with the views from the cabin, since we decided to pay more for a place with views. I would not call them tremendous. However, the cabin was a great base for our Lake Tahoe activities.

Our rental cabin is within 5 miles of all the major state parks and minutes walk to Meeks Bay Beach, Lake Tahoe. We are close to homewood ski resort and a nice lakeside drive to Squaw/Alpine and Heavenly. Views! Views! Views!
