What an ideal place to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds Ithaca.
This cottage is perfect for us. Fully equipped, it is comfortable and convenient. This was the third time we have spent a few days there, enjoying the view of the lake, watching the ducks and other wildlife, and just relaxing in the lovely setting. We look forward very much to returning in the coming years.
Great house, lovely view
This was our second time staying here and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. The house has a beautiful view of Cayuga Lake and is a short drive into downtown Ithaca and other attractions like the Hangar Theatre, Cayuga Nature Center, the Museum of the Earth, and Taughannock Falls. You really can't ask for a better location. We would happily book this cottage again.
We had an extremely relaxing and pleasant 2 weeks. Linens and towels were included which is very generous these days, you don't have to pack those bulky items. The home was immaculate and well maintained...wonderful experience!! Highly recommended.
Great vacation Getaway
We truly enjoyed our stay! The cottage had everything, just pack your bags and a cooler. So relaxing to wake up each day and enjoy coffee at the waters edge. Close to Ithaca and great for day trips to all of the Finger Lakes. Do be aware that you have a lot of stairs to get down to the lake side!

Beautiful setting, comfortable house
This is the second time we stayed at this house and this time it was for Ithaca College graduation. It was the perfect place for our family. The setting right on the lake is perfect - you can just sit and watch the ducks, geese, boats and be perfectly content. And you are a short drive to downtown Ithaca and in the opposite direction to nice hikes and wineries.
The house is well stocked. As a frequent VRBO renter I know how important that is - to be able to easily cook and serve food and to have enough blankets, towels, etc. The owners are very easy to deal with.
Unfortunately our need to be in Ithaca regularly has ended, but were we to come back, would love to be here.
A very nice cottage right on Cayuga Lake.
The cottage is in a perfect location to see the sights around Cayuga and Seneca Lakes. Or, you can just relax and look at the lake and the birds that come by. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. (The Breville Toaster is awesome.) Kathy was so helpful to us anytime we needed something. Her recommendations of the Red Feet Wine Market and Wegman's (for groceries) was spot on. We easily drove to the Cornell Plantations and Lab of Ornithology. Went up to the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge and a cruised on the Schooner 'True Love'. We didn't allow enough time at the Corning Glass Museum, but we were able to see a special exhibit, a glass-blowing demo and make our own small glass animal - we both highly recommend this for adults (so fun). We had such a good time we hope to come back.
Ten minutes to Ithaca or Trumansburg. Fifteen minutes to Cornell University and Ithaca College. Two miles to hiking/boating/swimming at Taughannock Falls State Park.
