Cozy 3B, 2B cottage close to trails and campus. dog ok.
This sunny mid century-modern house is located on the edge of Chautauqua Park and is very close to the C.U. campus. It is secluded at the end of a cul de sac, with no traffic or student activity. The huge lot/yard with views of the mountains has beautiful old trees, flowers, wildlife, and a creek that runs in the spring. The location is amazing.
Chautuaqua trails, concert hall, restaurant, playground, and tennis courts are just up the street. It is also a very short walk to CU including alumnae house, football stadium, Macky Auditorium, and Grusin Music hall. The 'Hill' is only a few minutes walk with much student activity and many restaurants. Pearl Street mall is a 15 minute walk downhill, via 'the Hill'.
The location is ideal for anything you might like to do in the Boulder area and also easy to get to mountains, Denver or Golden from here.

Our family was thrilled to find this home to rent while our house was under renovation. Ginna was extremely friendly and accommodating. We have an 18-month old son and a 3-year old chocolate lab. The yard was perfect for our dog and our son loved to walk the grounds daily. The house was comfortable and fully furnished including toys and books for our son! You can't beat the location. The house is one block away from Chautauqua Park and numerous hiking and dog walking trails. The place has a mountain feel and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The only drawback to mention is that the house is somewhat outdated. Aside from that, we stayed there for two months, had a splendid time and would do it again in a heartbeat.
This is the best place to stay in Boulder. The house is a lovely mid-century design, very conveniently laid out, with 3 bedrooms, two baths (one of them a dressing room, too), and a patio for eating outdoors just beyond the kitchen and dining area. The decor is tasteful, and all the furniture is comfortable, especially the king-size bed in the master bedroom and the chairs for reading. The location is divine, quiet and near two sets of trailheads. Everything in Boulder is close by car. (You do need a car here.) My husband and I loved to sit outside with a glass of wine and watch the birds flying through the enormous evergreens. Because the house is set back from the road, you have the illusion sometimes of being totally in the country, though you in the most elegant part of the city.
Great house, amazing location--quiet and secluded, but close to everything!
We stayed here for a week in late May. The house was a great fit for 5 of us, including a two-year-old. The neighborhood is beautiful, close to parks and town, and the house has everything you might need. It's well furnished and comfortable, and there is some great, cozy outdoor space all around it. The owners were very helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed (including a Pack 'N Play for the toddler!) well in advance of our trip.
We spent 6 days at this wonderful home while we explored Boulder and environs. The location is fantastic. We could walk to Chautauqua Park for hikes to the Flatirons and easily reach downtown by car. The family room, bedrooms and baths were very comfortable. The towels, sheets and pillows were great. The kitchen was nicely equipped. The owner, Ginna was available and accommodating. I loved Boulder and I loved this house.
Great Home away from home
We stayed at this home for over 2 months as our Boulder home was being remodeled. Everything about the home is wonderful, including the great location to Chautauqua and the CU Hill, the large lot (our puppy loved it!), and the open floor plan. We loved how roomy it was and everyone in the family had enough space (sometimes hard to find when searching for long term reasonable options). It was well equipped and had everything we needed for a long stay. The owner was very flexible and accommodating, especially as we had to extend our stay due to remodel delay. We even celebrated Christmas at the house and it was a wonderful, wintery place to be. We highly recommend it to others who want to have a special Boulder experience.
We spent a month at this lovely 1950's home. Lots of land and a beautiful river in the backyard. The house is very cozy and comfortable with a lot of windows and sunlight. A small oasis so close to our daughter's home. The owner ,Ginna ,was always available and willing to accomodate and our time there was truly exceptional . There are 3 bedrooms,2 baths, a lovely living room/ dining room and an outdoor terrace. The linens and beds are new and clean and attractive. We could not have asked for more. The off street covered parking behind the house was very convenient. Chataqua was just a short walk up the hill.
Open space trail heads and Chautuaqua, with concert hall, playground, tennis courts, and restaurant, are just up the street. It is also a very short walk to CU including alumnae house, football stadium, Mackey Auditorium, and Grusin Music hall. Down the hill is a 10 minute walk to Starbucks and Whole Foods. Pearl Street mall is a 15 minute walk, via 'the Hill'.
