Cottage is as advertised. Perfect size for the 3 of us. Everything is in walking distance. Fell asleep to the sound of the waves every night. Loved it!!
Quaint and right on the sand.
Nice old beach cottage in the middle of Imperial Beach hotspots. Would do well for this property to have a spring cleaning and some updating. We had to clean the floor before settling in. What can you do though, living on the beach can’t be too perfect!
Sweet little vintage cottage right on the beach.
We had a great stay. Would definitely come again.
EXACTLY AS ADVERTISED
Location is wonderful a few minor upgrades would make it 5 star.
Great location.... could have supplied cleaning supplies
the Location was amazing! No cleaning supplies were provided and couldn’t even use the hose to wash off our feet before going in the house. The house was small but didn’t really matter when you have the beach right there. The owners were quick to respond to any concerns we had.
There was a water key on the key ring given at the time of check in. There is no head on the faucet outside due to the fact that the public on the beach would be using the water. Other than dish liquid and a broom and dustpan, we do not provide cleaning supplies because we do the cleaning. This was a 4 day stay.
Imperial Beach is located within 15 to 30 minutes drive from downtown San Diego, Little Italy, Balboa Park, Lindberg Field, Old Town, Sea World, the San Diego Zoo, Coronado, and many other points of interest in the area. The beach is level and good for walking, surfing, and is near the city’s fishing pier. With a population of about 29,000, it is a classic little beach town.
