Nice Condo in a great location

  • 5 of 5

The condo was just as described. The owners are very easy to work with. We enjoyed Grand Haven, what a nice beachy town! Plenty of free to inexpensive things to do...starting with the Musical Fountain. This is unique light/music show good for all ages..Boardwalk is a great walk with just a few shops and ice cream. There are several free museums. We were able to catch 2 free concerts in the area parks! Both great shows! Downtown is very walkable. Take a Trolley tour of the city to obtain some local history. Rosy Mound Natural Area is a wonderful park with several walking trails, wonderful views of lake Michigan. We really liked North Beach Park( about a 10 min drive) this park is clean and a wonderful spot to enjoy Lake Michigan. Grand Haven State Park/ City Park are also really nice beaches. Make sure you watch a sunset there. Plenty of places to eat our favs were K2 Pizzeria, Culvers, Odd sides ale and the Grand Haven Armory brewery- Righteous BBq is the food venue inside (come hungry they serve big portions at a reasonable price).

A “Sea-Quell” We Like

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying here; in fact this was our third time! The condo itself is clean and contemporary with granite counter tops, hardwood-like floors and brushed aluminum appliances and fixtures. The second floor unit looks out onto the courtyard and shops below.

Such a great location! Park the car and forget it! Your just a few minutes away from everything Grand Haven has to offer – bike trails, beaches, GH State Park, Lake Michigan, Grand Haven Municipal Marina, restaurants, shops, bars and more!

As Arnold Schwarzenegger would say – “We’ll be back!”

Cozy, Cute & Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

This could be a really Long Review as this cozy, wonderful condo has a long list of things to be happy about. My husband & I have "VRBO-ed" all across this country and this condo ranks as one of the best! It was the perfect size for the two of us! It is beautifully decorated, meticulously clean, well-stocked, has comfie furniture (including the highly sought after - often ignored by other condo owners - King Bed!), and is nicely located. It is close to downtown Grand Haven and the municipal marina (where we leave our boat while in Grand Haven). Right outside your door you'll find Culvers, Rykes Bakery, Biggby Coffee, Jimmie Johns and a newly opened Gastropub called The Paisley Pig. (Note here: The "Pig" has great food and a cool vibe but as of this writing does not yet have a liquor no beer or wine for this thirsty girl coming off the Lake :-) They are working on it however).

We love Grand Haven and the nearby town of Holland! We look forward to our return and we will most certainly seek out the Guastella's wonderful condo as our home base.

Thank you Dave and Terri for opening up your fantastic condo! You guys are great hosts and awesome to work with!

Grand Haven Gem!

  • 5 of 5

We had another great stay at Dave & Terri's condo in Grand Haven. This one bedroom condo rocks and is perfect for our 2 kids. Every morning we made breakfast before we headed to the beach for the day. It is also a short 1/2 drive to Michigan's Adventure which was also convenient. I highly recommend this condo for a stay in Grand Haven!

Owner's Response: We are glad that you enjoyed your stay; Grand Haven is a great place to spend time relaxing and enjoying all that the area has to offer. We're sorry that you found the pull-out sofa bed uncomfortable. We strive to maintain superior accommodations at the condo and we replace the mattress every three years, which was going to be at the end of this season. We will plan on taking care of this sooner.

Awesome Condo and great stay in Grand Haven!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I went away for a quick weekend getaway! It was our first time in Grand Haven and we found both the area and the condo to be perfect for us! The condo was very close to town! It has a great balcony that spans the entire length of the condo. Perfect for sitting outside and relaxing! The condo was clean, well decorated, and had everything we needed. The owners were great to work with. I would definitely recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great getaway in Grand Haven!
