Two Bedroom Garden Level Suite, Newly Renovated

The garden level suite was completely renovated in 2013. It has a complete kitchen including espresso maker. There are hardwood floors, tiled bathroom/kitchen and original design touches. The two bedrooms are located on either end of the suite for maximum privacy. Our living room sofa contains a comfortable bed if needed. The suite opens onto a lovely backyard which you are welcome to use. The owners take great pride in accommodating your wonderful visit to Vancouver, BC.

About Liz or Doug Cochran

Liz and Doug are semi-retired with three adult children who lived their entire life in this home while attending local schools The neighbourhood consists of mostly character houses with long term residents and there is a school about a half block away. This was a wonderful neighbourhood to raise a family in and we enjoyed it so much we never considered moving. Shopping/restaurants/transportation are only two blocks away.

Liz and dougs was perfect place to stay in kitslano to explore the beach and the many restaurants and getting to downtown vancouver

The property has plenty of room, two lovely bedrooms and everything for a relaxing stay with a lovely garden

Liz and Doug are lovely hosts very friendly and helpful and great local knowledge of where to visit and eat

Many thanks for a great stay and making us feel welcome will definetly stay again next time in Vancouver

Great little apartment perfectly located in quiet suburb

Pleased from the beginning with arrangements for arrival and entry.

Apartment is in a lovely quiet suburb of the city with excellent bus links as well as restaurants and shops.

Courtyard garden was great for an afternoon doze before heading out.

Inside was well equipped with comfortable furniture and everything you need.

Owners were very friendly and accommodating.

Comfortable spacious ground floor suite in great neighbourhood

This 2 bedroom suite had everything we wanted, space, garden, big kitchen, big bathroom, living room that could seat several people comfortably, and is close to great shopping for groceries and wine as well as good restaurants. Buses also handy, so park your car and use Vancouver's great transit system. We were able to use a code to get in, so no hassle, and found a loaf of home-made cranberry bread as a welcome. Anything extra we needed we easily got from Liz. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Comfortable, Well Located. And Charming

We loved staying at Liz and Doug's place. It was light filled. One bedroom overlooks a magical garden. Liz was very helpful. The apartment was spacious and so easy. to be in. Kitchen very well appointed. Beds comfortable The two bed rooms are at opposite ends so good for sharing space . The apt is well layer out The neighborhood is very convenient to shops, restaurants and UBC. Convent to both 4th St and Broadway. At the same time it is quiet and residential. If you are lucky enough to have good weather - it's hard to pull yourself away from the garden. Thank you Doug and Liz

Our property is located in the heart of Kitsilano, a lovely residential neighbourhood very close to downtown Vancouver (a bridge away). We have lived in the same character house for 30 years. There are lovely walks and hikes in wooded terrain and along beaches, in addition to many restaurants and cultural activities a short walk, bus ride or drive away.
