Boutique hotel in great location
We spent 6 days at Hotel Navona Colors in early October. The hotel is located, as it's name suggests, very close to Piazza Navona. We found the location to be excellent - there were loads of restaurants nearby and the major sights were, for the most part, within walking distances. The hotel itself is charming, tucked away on a little street and easy enough to initially miss with it's non-flashy entrance and discreet sign. Breakfast was included in our room rate and consisted of a typical continental 'spread' including hard boiled eggs, cold meats and cheeses, pastries, breads, buns, biscuits, crackers, cereals, fruit, yogurt, etc. - and delicious coffee. It just took a minute to learn how to use the great coffee machine. Staff members spoke English (Thank you!) and were very accommodating and helpful. Be aware that rooms on floor 3 have a little step down at the entrance which unfortunately could be a trip hazard. Not a big deal - just need to be aware. We had an issue with lighting in our first room (ceiling light could not be turned off) and the hotel accommodated us - moving us to another room, so that we would not be disrupted by workmen who were needed to fix the problem. We'd stay at Hotel Navona Colors again if we were to return to Rome.
Great hotel fantastic location
We found the Navona Colors to be the perfect hotel for us. The room was a nice size, it was very clean, and the air conditioning was very good. The staff was very accommodating and the location could not be better. This boutique hotel is located on a small street with several restaurants just out the front door. We felt that we got a true taste of Rome by staying here. The location enabled us to walk to every attraction we wanted to visit with the exception of the Colosseum. If you want to be pampered you may prefer a larger hotel, but again, for us it was perfect.
Wonderful location. Clean rooms, friendly staff
This hotel was one of our favorites during our Italy tour. We were here for 2 nights. The hotel staff were very helpful in booking tours, reservations for dinner and simply answering any and all questions we had. The breakfast was wonderful and the location was perfect for walking to all of the top sights. Highly recommend
Nice hotel in quaint neighborhood
Small hotel located in a typical small neighborhood, with a choice of very nice restaurants within 1 block either way you walked from the hotel. Still within walking distance to Novana Plaza, Pantheon, and the hop on hop off bus.
Close walk to the beautiful river walk
